Key Differentiators
Competitors, such as other Repossession Companies, Network
Recovery, ,Allied, AAR, On Demand, Repos these are just a
handful of Repossession companies in Salt Lake City and they all
receive the same repo orders as us. It is the competition between
us, the banks, credit unions, and other repo companies. Basically
if you pick up before they do and call it in and keep picking up
the banks orders, before the other repo companies they will send
you their orders first. It is all about competition.

Critical Risks
Risk factors are with the competitors who substantially have
greater financial and marketing resources larger customer
bases, longer operating histories, greater name recognition and
more established relationships in the industry than we do.
Competitors may be able to: devote greater resources to the
marketing and sales area. Adopt more aggressive pricing
policies. Some larger competitors may also be able to provide
clients with additional benefits at lower overall costs. Expansion
could require additional capital or strain other resources. This
plan anticipates that business will grow and increase the number
of drivers in the field. In order to successfully manage growth,
management must: Enlarge the company infrastructure.
Improve business, financial and information systems. Expand,
train, and manage the employee base effectively. There will be
additional demands on customer service support and sales,
marketing, recruiting, administrative resources as the target
market expands. If management cannot manage growth
effectively financial conditions or results of operation could be
adversely affected. Existing assets, anticipated debt and
expected revenue growth will be sufficient to fund operations for
12 months. However if the company expands more rapidly than
currently anticipated or if working capital needs exceed current
expectations. The company will need to raise additional capital
from equity or debt sources. If the company cannot obtain
financing on acceptable terms it may be forced to curtail planned
business expansions and maybe unable to fund ongoing
operations.

investment has primarily gone into the company for expenses
and expansion. In our company for the use of new trucks and
more space for our yard. We appreciate your business and look
forward to doing business with you in the near future.

Swot Analysis Inside the Company

Strengths
We have an accurate view of our resources and capabilities,
which are:

Banks Wells Fargo

America First Credit Union
Chase Auto Finance
Pay Day Loans

Our financial strengths are that we keep record of everything,

which is logged and uploaded into the computer. We have the
capacity to store the vehicles we pick up in a secure location. In
addition, we have a flatbed if needed for a severely wrecked
vehicle. Our management is skilled and has been in the business
for 10 years. Our strategy is customer satisfaction. To locate,
surrender, and secure the vehicle upon pick-up and location. We
enter the workspace as professionals ready to go to work on a
daily basis! We have a great contact list of clients that we
communicate with weekly. Our reputation is well known in the
state of Utah. We are known for finding and locating vehicles
that have been missing and cannot be found. We found those
vehicles that other repossession companies have not located. So
our reputation is known by other companies for we do the
impossible locate and redeem. We are up-to-date on the latest
technology, Skip Trace and micros with our computers so we can
locate and trace down vehicles.
Weaknesses
Our weakness. We do have a slow season in picking up vehicles
and that is right around fall and winter. When tax season comes
around it picks up again. Inadequate financial resources are
limited; it is what we have in our company account. We do not do
business overseas. We do not transport vehicles out of state. The
UINTAH TOWING AND RECOVERY - 18

bank credit union will have to provide a transporter. If you

employ us to transport a vehicle, it will cost three times the
amount of the repossession fee and mileage for gas. Our
marketing skills are limited. We need the necessary funds to
market and make a website for the company. Our financial
resources are limited. In order to expand we need capital to
support our business growth.

UINTAH TOWING AND RECOVERY - 19

Swot Analysis Outside the Company

Opportunities
We have the potential to market our company with the resources
that are available to us. We also have the newest truck with a
remote that controls the lift, which is the latest technology out
there for repo trucks. We are always ready for new technology to
advance our companys growth.
Threats
New competitors are always tough to deal with. We do not know
if their prices are the same as ours for the banks or if they are
lower. Supplies remain the same they want our business so their
prices remain the same. There was an increase in government
regulation in the state of Utah: all tow yards $45 a day and prior
to all repossessions storage of a car/vehicle $45 a day when
redeeming that vehicle. The shifts for working remain the same,
a one-person repossession 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday & Saturday.
The second shift is at 6PM-4AM Monday-Friday & Saturday.
Sometimes the market may show down during the late months of
November-February. Then, when tax season comes around, it
picks up. We may have to lower our prices in order to get the
banks to work with us if we do not have orders coming in
through these months. Competition with other repo companies
are hard to deal with. However, if you know their going rates all
you need to do is set your prices below theirs.
