UPETROM FLOW LINE PIPING

1. DESCRIPTION
-

Consist from one piece of pipe with wing union/male sub connection and female
sub connection, eliminates the need for welds or threads for an uninterrupted bore
and greater flow.
Flow line piping is available in different lengths (from 1m up to 2,5m)
Recommended for air, water, oil, gas and mud service to 10,000 psi / 15,000 psi
CWP.
They are used on high-pressure discharge lines, auxiliary flow lines, choke-and-kill
lines and for abrasive applications.
RAL paint (red) will be use for pipe connections 10,000 psi / RAL paint (blue) for
pipe connections 15,000 psi.
2. MATERIAL

Standard pipe is manufactured from API high-strength material grade P-110.

Union is manufactured from forging steels using AISI 4130 API 16 C / API 6A
requirements, PSL 2.
Seal ring are also available in Viton or Highly Saturated Nitrile (if NACE req.).

3. END CONNECTIONS
-

Male and female subs threaded with Non-Upset Tubing Thread in accordance with
API 5B are standard.
Male and female subs welded can be provided.

4. SOUR SERVICE
-

Sour service and all HS service is available conforms to the latest NACE
specifications.
5. LOW TEMPERATURE SERVICE

Flow line piping can be supplied for low temperature applications with suitable
impact value testing.

7. TRACEABILITY
-

UPETROMs flow line piping is supplied with full traceability documentation for
each component.

8. ADVANTAGES
Standard UPETROM flow line piping provides an unpressurized connection solution
for assembly between pipe and male & female subs.
-

Thread is not subject to pressure and the risk of pulling the thread.
No abrasion wear and corrosion on thread flanks due circulating fluids.
No turbulence inside of the flow line piping due to the continuity of diameter.
