The College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS) Lions ruled over the College of Teacher
Education (CTEd) Jaguars and reigned as champion after their championship match in Lawn
Tennis single women division held at the Cagayan Sports Complex with a remarkable score of
6 3.
Ma. Angelica Guzman of Lions, with a twice to beat advantage proved that she is indeed
unbeatable and unstoppable in her striking 3 wins and zero loss in her overall standing.
Joan Estancio, on the other hand tried to bounce back after her defeat in winners bracket
but Guzman is much eager to win the match.
The first 6 games are unpredictable as the winner of each game sea sawed on both team.
The seventh game oiled the enthusiasm of the crowed to cheer at the top of their lungs as
Guzman dominated until the 9th game that marked her victory.
The said winning match served to even the score for their Lions as they too, managed to
wrest the championship title in doubles women category against Jaguars while the Lions
remained underdog both on single and doubles men category.
Furthermore, CTEd Jaguars, CBEA Tigers, and CHIM Panthers placed as 1 st, 2nd, and 3rd
runner up both on single and doubles women category
