Mission and Vision Statement

The mission is to enhance learning in every child to motivate their learning capability and push
them to want to strive to learn and be motivated. Create an environment that is suitable for their
learning and ability to excel to their potential. Challenging them in using the new technology in
deferent ways that is provided for them during class. Making it easier for the teachers to have
tools to teach a lesson using technology that will help them create well planned lesson plans.
Also have students be creative and help them explore the internet and the website using the new
technology that is available
Communication Plan
One of the communication tools that will be used in class well be the students website. It will
allow them to go into the webpage that will be created for them so that they can view what is
expected of them in class and also how the parents can get involved in the education of the
student. There they will find an email address that they can use to get a hold of the teacher and
the students assignments or any materials that they need for class. Teacher and parents can
communicate with each other through the webpage it well facilitate any type of unknown
information that is needed by both teacher and parent. Other teachers can also interact with each
other using the school website it is a good way to find what is going on within the school
activities and students grades. Teachers can plan meetings with parents and send information to
the other teachers within the school webpage. This is a good way of using the technology to
communicate with each other and the community. It is very important to make sure that the
students are being secured while they are using the internet in school. Teachers should always

assign the students a website that is revised and allowed in school for the security of the student.
It is not good for the student to be giving out the assigned login identification. It is also important
for the school to send a note that lets the parent know that the student will be using the internet
and will be assigned a login identification. Keeping an eye on the students that are using the
internet is the best way to keep track of what students are doing for security purposes. It allows
the student only stay within the webpage that was assigned for them and not go into something
that they are not. It is very important for security of the student and the parents not to use the
personal phones and emails that is why they are to use the school website and webpage for any
type of information that they need.

Integrating Instructional Technology

It is essential to integrate technology in todays class setting. Being that computer technology
and mobile devices are becoming a part in how individuals work, live, play, and learn. The use in
technology in a classroom can be a pros it would help educate, entertain, inform and research.
The use of the computer and school websites can provide easy access to grade and record, keep
track of attendance in class. The electronic devices and other technology can be used to teach.
Such as the internet, whiteboard, tablets, IPad, recorders and many other tools that are available.
Educational tools are beneficial to motivate and enhance the students learning and educational
growth. The whiteboard is useful for stimulating the classroom and enchantment in learning
growth of the students giving them the ability to touch and use special pen. It is great for
demonstration it can accommodate different learning styles, all ages of students respond
favorably to board use (Vaeska Gioia, n.d.) Students with limited motor skills can enjoy board
use, it is interactive and it can be a kids magnet. Whiteboard can engage a wide variety of
students in the learning process, students with learning disabilities can use their fingers or fist,

any objects such as a tennis ball, depending on the type of board used. Educators can use it to
adapt materials for students with visual challenges in a variety of ways. For students that have
hearing problems the whiteboard is also a boon for them. Interacting whiteboard with fingertouch capabilities enables educators to keep their hands free of pen tools, which can interfere
with signing for student that have a mental and behavioral challenge it can provide stimulating
focal point for lessons and can therefore be a tremendous asset for the students and teachers as
lesson tool. Using technology is a pro because it can help teachers cater their lessons to students
in their individual needs and also enhancing the learning environment. Any students using
assistive technology or the internet greatly increases the students independence allowing them to
complete tasks that are asked from them. Teaching students that have special needs how to use
and understand technology can help them in the future and to be able to adapt in the real world.
The cons is that in many schools they still cannot afford to incorporate new technology into the
classrooms. They are also shorthanded and teachers that have too many students in a classroom
cannot monitor what students are exposed on the internet. Not too many teachers are trained and
are lacking knowledge of how to use certain types of technology which would cause problems
when they are trying to incorporate technology into the classrooms. One of the deference in
wired and wireless is the cost and the flexibility of use of wireless. Wireless offers ten times the
capacity at less than one half the cost (Fielding, 1999). It is also easier for students to continue
to do assignments without having to be stuck in a desktop computer. The wireless offers service
where ever there is wireless internet without the hassle of wires and connections. The wired
connections are good because they do have a stronger connection to the computer, but it is
unconvinced because they are only able to be used when they are connected to outlets or wired.
Students that do not have access to the internet have to finish their work right there in then.
Differentiating, Instruction through Technology

There are many challenges that are seen with students that have disabilities. Students with
disabilities cannot use the same technology that typical students use. The pros of using
technology is that the special needs children benefit in a classroom when they use any type of
technology that they can use their vision or hands on. Devices and software to assist students
with disabilities can often help teachers personalize skills than their teachers and are drawn to
computers and other gadgets. Using them in the classroom makes perfect sense (Job, 2010).
One of the benefits of using technology in the classroom is the ability to differentiate instruction
and meet the need of the student in the lesson that is being given. Every student grows in a
deferent speed. Using technology makes it possible for the lesson to be taught in a pace and
appropriate for each student learning level. It can also be prompted in a multiple intelligence
manner for the students to enhance their abilities to learn. Teachers should not only rely on
technology not all students can adapt to the technology use. It is good for teachers to use other
methods of teaching that can accommodate students learning ability. For example, the use of
textbooks are still good for students that are not able to use the technology or might not have
accesses to it. Using hand-on in lessons that are still written in paper could also be good for the
teacher to adapt to the old ways when the internet is down. It is good for students to use their
minds in problem solving and not rely on calculators it helps them find solutions to problems. It
is hard to see and find out what works in todays classrooms. Education is rapidly changing.
Students today cannot set in an area for a long period of time. The good news is that, not all
students are unaware. More and more of society at large and students are demanding an
educational system that works for and with them (Bogdan, 2011). A centered learning
environment encourages students to learn and be independent. There are do-it-yourself, studentto-student teaching, project-based learning and also student-centered learning environment all
are encouraging programs.
Technology to Support Assessment

The ongoing effort to assist in the learning in students using technology can be a challenge for
many teachers. The use of technology in classrooms have been an asset for enchantment in
motivating the learning strategies that students are in need. The importance of assessment
technology in connection with ISTE standards is that first the progress and success of technology
integration is that leaders need to continually assess how effectively technology is applied at all
levels. It is important to evaluate technology itself and the effectiveness. Also applying resources
in classrooms, enhancing their learning abilities. Technology evaluation provides a feedback
loop to inform course corrections and allows leaders to measure return on investment, students
and leaders help track the systems progress toward meeting the ISTE standards benchmarks
(Essential Contitions, 2015).
Reflection Conclusion
The Classroom technology plan that will be used in the classroom will help students prepare,
motivate, enhance and achieve the goal of success. It will help students learn to use technology
correctly and safely. The use of the website that will be provided will be monitored and revised
to further their learning desire. Teachers will be able to use the technology to communicate with
parents and plan meetings and lesson plans with other teachers. Students can get involved with
the parents and observe the progress that the student has accomplished. It will all be beneficial
for the students progress in how they are doing with participation and learning achievement.
Finding the pros and the cons before class begins will be a help to continue using what is right
for the class and what technology can be beneficial for the students. Keeping track of what the
students are doing with the internet and what is being researched can help students be safe in the
use of the technology tool.
