Minutes of Turriff & District Community Council AGM Meeting
Monday 1 June 2015, Turriff Town House

1. PRESENT: J Smith (Treas), R Logan (Past Sec), J McIntosh (Min Sec), D Salmon,
R Munro, A Stephen, D McKenzie, I Garden, M Rawlins.
APOLOGIES: B Ewen, D Park, D Capel.
IN ATTENDANCE: N Prise-Porter (Press), Cllr A Norrie, Cllr A Duncan, PC R
McDonald.
J Smith stood in as Chairperson and welcomed everyone to the meeting. He read out
an email he received from B Ewen, stating he wish to resign from Turriff Community
Council, Turriff Caravan Park and Turriff Town Pride Group with immediate effect.
R Munro also tendered his resignation as he will be moving out of the area.
2. ELECTIONS/CO-OPTIONS
a) Elections The following were elected/re-elected to TDCC: Rose Logan, Annette
Stephen, Mike Rawlins, David Salmon, Ian Garden.
b) Continuing Members John Smith, Dolina McKenzie, Denis Capel, Ronald
Munro, Darren Park.
c) Co-options Michael Duncan.
3. ADOPTION OF MINUTES OF JUNE 2014 AGM MEETING
Proposed by R Logan
Seconded by A Stephen
4. MATTERS ARISING (AGM minutes)
Cllr Norrie asked whom Philip and Michael were in relation to last year. Philip was
the town orderly and Michael operated the boating pond.
5. TREASURERS REPORT
John had already e-mailed former members a copy of the accounts. He then went on
to explain the accounts. He is to get them independently examined. These were
provisionally agreed by M Rawlins (proposer) and R Munro (Seconder).
6. CHAIRPERSONS REPORT
None.

7. ELECTION OFFICE BEARERS


Cllr Norrie agreed to conduct the business of election of Office Bearers.

Cllr Norrie thanked the old committee and wished the new committee luck for the
year ahead.
