Assistive technology helps students gain access to learning
Putnam County exceptional education department is responsible
for 20% of students.

2 Discuss how these key points connect to your content area.
In my content area, which is mathematics, I will have students that all
require different techniques on delivering the lesson. It is important to
meet each and every students needs so that all the students have the
opportunity to learn. Using technology in mathematics is very
important in becoming an effective teacher.

3 Share how you might use this new information in your future
classroom.
The different forms of assessment that were discussed are something
that I will integrate into my classroom. I learned some methods of
teaching students with different needs and will use what I learned in
my classroom.
