    Club,SpiritClub,SpanishClub,andImpactClub.Inmychurch,IamapartofYouthCouncil.Members
    ofYouthCouncilareresponsibleforknowingandmanagingthebudget,helpingtoplanactivitiesand
    functions,andalsoencouragingandbeingpositiverolemodelsforchildrenintheyouth.Duringthe
    schoolyearIworkatBrickHouseTaverninDavidson,NorthCarolina.Therestauranthostessisthefirst
    employeetointeractwitharrivingguestsastheyentertherestaurant.Itisthejobofthehostesstogreet
    arrivingguests,welcomethemintotheestablishmentandseatthem.Theguestsreceivetheirfirst
    impressionoftheserviceoftherestaurantbytheirexchangewiththehostess.IntheSummer,Iama
    CampCounselorattheLakeNormanYMCA.TheCampCounselor,isresponsibleforplanning,leading,
    andimplementingcoreandnoncoreprogramsandexperiencesforchildreninasmallgroupsetting.
    Theywillalsoberesponsibleforthegeneralsafetyanddevelopment,growth,andskillachievementof
    theparticipantsinhis/hergroup.Theincumbentwillprovidehighqualityoutdooreducationaland
    recreationalexperiencesforparticipantsthatfocusontheYMCAcorevaluesofcaring,honesty,respect
    andresponsibility.

    Mypassionforsportshashadalargeimpactonmydecisionforafuturecareer.Mydadplayed
    professionalbaseball,andbyhavingtwobrothersIgrewuparoundathletes.Thewomenonmymoms
    sideofthefamilyallwentintonursing,soIknewthatIwantedtodosomethingwithmedicine.By
    combiningthetwocategories,IcametotheconclusionthatSportsMedicineiswhereIwouldthrive.
    WithinSportsMedicineIdecidedthatPhysicalTherapywouldbemybestfit.Whilecompletingmy
    mentorhours,Iwillalsofinishmyprideproject.FormyprojectIwillsitdownwithmymentor,Mrs.
    Ginger,andusetheknowledgethatIhaveacquiredthroughshadowinghertopresentarecoveryplanfor
    apatientwithaninjurywhoisnotasurgicalcandidate.Myplanwillincludeadetaileddaytodaylistof
    wordedinstructions,andvideodocumentationofpatientbeingprovidedinstructionandeducationby

    myself,undertheguidanceofmymentor.InthevideosIwilleitheraskforpermissiontofilm,oronly
    filmfromtheneckdown.Iwillincludeproofofvideoreleaseoranyidentifyingfeaturesofanindividual
    willbedistorted,inanefforttonotviolatepatientprivacylawsandstandards.Thankyouforyour
    considerationandtime.
