IPAC, INC. 155 Pineview Dr. Amherst New York 14228 1-800-388-3211 wwwipacine.com Water Cooled AfterCoolers The IPAC Advantage ‘The most compact unit ofits kind because of its extended tube surface, the IPAC Inc, Water Cooled Aftercooler is suitable for packaged compressors or any site where space is limited, Built with either patented Helical or plain tubes, 51 series Affercoolers are designed to deliver a 15-20 degree Fahrenheit approach temperature, depending on water ter- perature and quantity, The 59 series delivers a 5-10 Fahren- heit approach. As hot compressed air flows through the extended surface tubes of the IPAC Water Cooled A ftervooler, the cooling ‘water flows on the outside of the tubes in the opposite direc- tion. This counter-flow arrangement makes the tube walls progressively colder for maximum cooling efficiency Heat from the compressed air is transferred throughout the ube walls to the water, thereby reducing the air temperature Until the dew point is reached. Further cooling causes the vapor to condense on the tube walls forming water droplets, ‘thus reducing the water vapor content of the compressed air. Product Features + Available with patented Helical tubes off tube surface for maximum efficiency. + Alternate materials - stainless steel, admiralty, cupro-nick- el, brass, ete. + Also available in plain tube allowing for lower pressure drop. * Compact size, vertical or horizontal mounting, + Standard capacities range from 10 SCFM to 27,0008CFM. + Built to ASME and TEMA standards, + Removable bundle configuration facilitates cleaning. * Custom designs of up to 3,000 PSIG and higher are avail- able depending on application + Special designs available - consult factory. ing extended Your Compressed Air Treatment Specialists Mark Pryrezak Compressed Air Products Manager Phone 1-800-388-3211 * Fax (716) 204-9593 E-Mail compresedair@aol.com ‘Connections Recommended 1PAC 400°] wane Horizontal sstiuGom | (Lbs) | Air twOur | Water wout | Separator | Drain 358 16 | taarxpr | uzener | wsor | saciz0 7058 2 vener | wsor | saciz0 TaTa | saat Tsao | aT w TENFT | Wsta | Sacra mana | 08s z0s8 | mone | 46 FNPT | _ Se NPT_| _WS08_| SACI 224 | 2034 moss | moins | oO UENPT | Soa | SACRO sane | 38085 33052 |S | NPT | Soa | SACTIO some | —s0072 soite | s00282 | 1a PPT ‘Sua | SACIST BOSE | HOS caiaa | — aor |i TIA" NPT | Soaht [SACRO eT | TESTS | —TaST7S| TOS} Te SFG [TT NPT] S48 SACI] Tosaie | Teswisa | —10s0281 | Tesoaa4 | 181 vr TOS NPT | —SO3H | SACTT TOOTS] TROTRST | — 1 p008 | —z0aE | 26s | FG NET aan |-SACTIO x [sora OTE] STOTT — | 389} To FE} 218 NF} S06] SCT ZITA] LTESABT 27a | —a78srT6 | 300] To FG aN Soa SATO THORS | SHORTS |S eaOT |S RaTT9S | a0] FG Ta NPT | S05] SACTOO arasas | aresma | avasnie | avesaat | 78 | WRiG | 212"NPT | SION | SACIO0 Shaded Section ao. ‘Maximum Capaciy (SCEND Connections ‘Recommended IPAC Inlet Ale Temperature CF) mterter| 200° | 20° 300° 4002 | woghe orton "suns | ScfnvGpm | Scimipm | sctwGpm | SefwGem | hte) | Air twiOue | watertwoue | Separator | Drain wos | 370 | 378 3721 388 20 | euaner | vaNer_| wsor | SAci20 woud | 6571 oT wns oss 7 FRPT [va NPT | wsor | SACIZ0 wouss| Tors | 30a 1203.6) 12077 sa [Ee NPT_| Va NPT_|_ws02_[SACIZ0 woos) | 2102.6 | 2109 Bioss | 210706 | 33 PT | _34*NPT | ws03__| _SACI20 210a6 | 21039 2iosa | 210106 | 6 | 2IR"FLG | _34"NPT_| _SOsH_| SACI20 32040 |_32087 3209.2 | s20i70 | tol _| "FG | 3a°NeT_| soa | SAcI20 e050 | 4007.7 40m | 400190 | 137 | 4° LG NPT [soa SACI20_| 35067 | $8000 | —sso/ias_| —ssan80 | iaa_| 4° FLG_| TiarNPT | Soa | SACIZO_) TaaRz | Tawas | — vas [ORO | Tee SL Ti NPT] —S4A]SACTIO DssTDS | SSSIS4 | 95512 | 955086 | 205 | S*FLG_|_ia"NPT_|Sos_| SACRO Tasos | laasas1 | —irasaee | 115606 | 207 | AG P NPT SOSH [-SACI20 Ta1s240 | 1915885 | 191ss80 | 1915716 | _440_| 10PFLG_| S1G"NPF | SooH_| SACI20 2.630837 | 2.630530 | 2630770 | 2630145 | 450 | IO"FLG | 240"NPT | SOSH | SACIOD 3e35410 | 363535 | _36ILO | Soxste | B60 [LK TE "NPT | S09 | SACTOT FaISARO]| SS1STET | asTSe | assis | ESO | 1 FLG | 2" NFT_| S10] SACTOO 488050 | 4am0mi7 | assonz0 | aseozi2 | 950 | rLG | © ALG ‘ST2H]SACIOO T1BO9E0_|T.ISOTSS TSOISE | 7 TROBET [180 |e FLG [SFL SISH | _SACION ‘Sa7STIT6 | 9,67SIT88 | _9,6TSDRT | _O.67SIS3T | 1.600 | 20° FL SFIS STaH_|_SACTOO Tao] Ta sTOaT | —TTSTOSA | 1 s7OsT | 1930 | a0 |e FLG ‘SIs | ~SACIOO NOTES: SIZING YOUR AFTERCOOLER: = Compressed air rated at 100 PSIG. | Enter selection chart a the appropriate compressed air = Ambient conditions rated at 75°F and $0% relative humidity inlot temperature, ‘Water inlet temperature rated at 80°F 2.
