Types of Biomass There is many types of BIomass and different ways it can be used for energy
production. Energy corps is one of them, it is also usually called power corps. Power corps are plants
that can be used to make biomass or electricity. Power corps grow in large amounts. Corn,Trees,and
grass are examples of energy corps.
Tree: tree is also used as energy corps and some trees are fast on growing. Some trees when theyre
cut it will grow again and it is called coppicing. The trees will be harvested in three to eight years and
20-30 years before replanting. Each country have different kind of trees that they can harvest.

How to convert Biomass to energy to electricity.Biomass is potential energy because you

have to convert to electricity by using heat to make it into chemicals that can be used.Biomass is
converted by using heat and contains electricity,power, and heat. Biomass can make lots of electricity.
5% of the U.S energy is created using biomass. Biomass is pretty good energy source but it isnt used
much. It is handy for making electricity. Biomass is a renewable energy source. Biomass energy has

Biomass.Biomass contained stored energy. Thats because plant absorb energy from the sun
through process of photosynthesis. When biomass is burned, it releases energy in a form of heat.
Burning biomass makes carbon dioxide but however plants use carbon dioxide to grow their
leaves,flower, branches, and stems. Wood chips, corn, and some types of garbage, are used to
produce electricity. Some types of biomass can be converted to liquid fuels called biofuel. It can be
used to power cars,truck, and tractor.
