PROJECT FOR THE MURRAY RIVER

This term we have been learning about the Murray River.

Your project is to make a brochure to tell others about the Murray River.
You may write your brochure on the Murray River, a town on the Murray,
history of the Murray, animals and plants of the Murray or people of the
Murray.
These are some questions and topics you can include in your brochure:
1. What types of animals live in and near the Murray River? Where do the animals
live in the Murray?
2. How does the depth of the Murray affect boats?
3. How did the Murray river form? How long is it?
4. How did the Murray river get its name?
5. What towns are along the Murray river?
6. What plants are along the Murray?
7. Where does the Murray go?
8. What dangers does the Murray river have?
9. People who live along the Murray (indigenous)
10. Transport and recreation on the Murray.
11. Who uses the Murray River. What do they use it for?

Use your rubric as a guide to help you with your project!
