Place is a theme of Geography that tells us what its like.

It allows us to know what the

physical characteristics of a certain area are. Place also tells us the human characteristics/Culture
characteristics of a certain area. It tells us what is inside a specific location, whether it would be
living or non-living things. For instance, a forest has animals, plants, water basins, etc. Place tells us
the physical characteristics of a certain area. A places physical characteristics usually revolve around
the earth, such as the weather or the climate. For example, the monthly temperature of Guangzhou
(A city in China) is one of the citys physical characteristics. In Guangzhou, they have high
temperatures during the middle of the year. The average precipitation (Or rainfall) of Guangzhou is
also one of the examples of the citys physical characteristics. Guangzhou also has high precipitation
during the middle of the year as well. Physical characteristics do not only affect cities, but also
schools. There are physical characteristics inside a school, such as trees, insects, plants, etc. Place
also tells us the human characteristics/Culture characteristics of a certain area. Unlike physical
characteristics, human characteristics revolve around the people of the location. To illustrate, people
in the whole of China have a variety of religions, some which are atheist, Buddhist, folk religion, etc.
That is considered as one of the human characteristics of China. There are also human
characteristics inside a school building, some which are the whole school grounds, different
languages, fields, etc. Place is a theme of geography that tells us whats it like. It also tells us the
physical and the human characteristics of a certain area. So, I conclude that a lot of people (Mostly
geographers) use place to understand the world better.

I learned that Guangzhou starts becoming hot during March. It

then reaches its hottest month during July and August. The
temperature then decreases down during December.
Overall, the temperature in Guangzhou becomes higher in the
middle of the year. (Around summer season in Guangzhou.)
Guangzhou starts to have a lot of rainfall at the start of March. As
it steadily increases, Guangzhous rainfall reaches its peak during
May. At the start of June, the amount of Guangzhous rainfall
steadily goes down.
Overall, Guangzhous precipitation happens during the middle
of the year. (Around summer in Guangzhou. This is normal since
they have frequent afternoon thunderstorms.)
According to my graph, the most common religion in China is
Atheism. With the Folk Religion and Buddhist religion behind them.
According to my graph, there are very little people who follow
the Christian, Hindu, Jewish, and Islamic religions in China. Very
little people also do not have religions.
Overall, Most Chinese people are atheist, some are Buddhist or
even Folk Religion. And there are very little people who follow
Christian, Islamic, etc.
