The Industrial Revolution
The Industry Revolution took place in the 18 and 19 Century, it was a period
in which rural society in Europe and America become industrial and urban. However
in the late 1700 is when Britain their industrial revolution period. Iron and textile
played a huge in the industrial revolution, which impacted transportation,
communication, and banking. During the industrial revolution the development of
standardized drafting practices aid the development of modern manufacturing or
business methods.
The Industrial Revolution during the war created jobs for many people in
need for once. When men were drafted for the war, so many jobs and opening that
they began hiring women. Women started replacing men jobs while they were off to
the war. Many families moved from their farms to live near cities to become factory
and offices workers. Militarys demand in machinery via use of the standardized
drafting practices were a big boost for the industrial revolution. Lacking the FordType assembly line method of mass production of machinery, but also provided a
mean of readily establishing patent on such machinery. It was the change from
making goods by hand and making goods with power-driven machines. United
States business leaders built an industrial nation in very short period of time. The
industrial revolution brought so much wealth to the United States that the writer
Mark Twain called the period, The Gilded Age.
During The Gilded Age, Many families moved from their farms to live near
cities to become factory and offices workers. The people who stayed behind started
producing mass production. They started producing things such as cotton on the
cotton gin, created by a man named Eli Whitney. The cotton gin along with other
inventions gave a big boost in the industry. This kept the economy increasing. In
conclusion drafting playing a major role in the industry evolution era to make better
the world.
