2tbsp.lard
11/2cupswater
cheeseasneeded
Instructions:Tortillas
1) Whisktogethertheflour,salt,andbakingpowder.
2) Mixinthelardwithyourfingersuntilthemixtureresemblescornmeal.
3) Addthewaterandmixuntilthedoughcomestogether.
4) Placedoughonalightlyflouredsurfaceandkneadafewminutesuntilsmooth
andelastic.
5) Dividethedoughinto24equalpiecesandrolleachpieceintoaball.
6) Useawellflouredrollingpintorolladoughballintoathin,roundtortilla.
7) Placeintoamediumhighheatskillet,andcookuntilbubblyandgolden.
8) Flipandcontinuecookinguntilgoldenontheotherside.

energytotransportthanitcontained,thiswasnotaverysustainablefood.
Togetalloftheingredientsneededtomakeourquesadillaswewouldhaveto
usemorethan5timestheamountofenergytotransportthemtous,almost2500
calories.Wewouldonlybeabletoretain440caloriesfromeatingthequesadilla.This
provesthatourdishisnowherenearsustainable.
