The Dawn before the Battle (A Chapter Poem from the Gypsy Tales) Here and there was

Natures grace: The life forms that flourished among the many growths that were nourished in harmony on land and sea in lifes race. And on the right was created a persona that was above the flock and provided by all that came before; undivided now presenting tranquility: a peaceful law And on the left were created many forms, each given petals from the flower; pieces of a higher thought and power in order to test what may transform. A battle was simmering hidden from all until the image on the right was tempted to be able to have sight of what the left was given: so forbidden Fury erupted when those on the right accepted the tidbit of knowledge and so quickly refused to acknowledge; even as they were thrown out into the night. So, the children went forth into the wild with eyes so opened for the first time as the many on the left watched their climb and falls as they grew: oh, so riled. Divided they were, those that were unique and thought to help or destroy these children that indulged so coy; a battle: Who will live in peace with the meek? The stage was set and the lines were drawn; there will be a battle between forces of good or evil drawn toward each course: Both sides wished mortality by dusk or dawn.
