    IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION


    Mold straps are to help hold mold plates together while transporting a mold.
    To ensure adequate protection, use mold straps of sufficient size and quantity.
    Mold straps must be fastened securely using SAE grade 8 socket head cap screws.

    FAILURE TO COMPLY COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY


    Mold strap failure could result in unexpected gravitational drop of one or more
    mold plates causing damage to equipment and possible injury to nearby personnel.
    To prevent mold strap failure:

    Use mold straps of adequate size and quantity to ensure adequate protection.

    Fasten mold straps in accordance with recommendations noted above.


    Remove mold straps before beginning machine operation.
