This Weeks Activities Dramatic Play: Pizza Parlor- Toddlers will have the opportunity to engage in play with one another as they pretend to be the cooks and guests at a pizza parlor. Flop & Drop: Book Nook- Toddlers will have the opportunity to read books with visual aids on the comfort of bean bag chairs. Gross Motor: Wooden Legos- Toddlers will have the opportunity to build different structures with wooden Legos. Block Center: Pizza Delivery- Toddlers will have the opportunity to drive a car on a road in the classroom. Music: Five Little Speckled Frogs-Toddlers will have the opportunity to sing, dance, and do the hand movements to the song Five Little Speckled Frogs. Outside Fine Motor: Painting- Toddlers will have the opportunity to paint on butcher paper. Outside Gross Motor: Sit and Spin and Ball Play- Toddlers will have the opportunity to play on a sit and spin. Toddlers will also have the opportunity to kick and play with balls. This week in class the focus will be on chanting, naming, listening, and talking. The toddlers will have the opportunity to practice these things as they look at pictures of objects in the make believe area and name them, talk with one another while playing at the pizza parlor and while playing in the block area together, sing and chant during music time and as they follow directions while driving around a car. As an extension of todays activities, five pictures of common objects that you might have is being sent home with you. At home your toddler can name and find the real life objects in your
