Preface to J of Math Modelling

In general applications of mathematics use formulas known or derived to develop a model and then validate
the completed model with data and observation. When dealing with a decision about complexity one cannot
write down an equation to describe all aspects of complexity, but need a method of synthesis that refers to
many criteria and properties to develop a model numerically based on measurements and judgments. Thus
one would expect in reporting on applications of AHP/ANP to have tables, matrices and vectors to deal
mathematically with the subject in a discrete fashion.
