PHILOSOPHER THAT HAS A CONVINCING ACCOUNT OF REALITY

As I watched the videos given to us by our Professor in Philosophy and Logic about
Plato and Aristotle, I appreciate more and understand each Philosophers Philosophy. For
my opinion the more convincing account of reality is Aristotle because his wisdoms really
inspired me.
For Aristotle, Philosophy was about practical wisdom and there are four practical
questions that he answered. First, what makes people happy? He explained that a people
can be happy if he possesses 11 virtues. These virtues are; courage, temperance, liberality,
magnificence, magnanimity, pride, patience, truthfulness, witness, friendliness and modesty.
If a person lack of these virtues, that person should not be prison but that person should
have a better teacher and more guidance from others. I agree with this philosophy of
Aristotle because for me also, people should have equal treatment even if they have virtues
or lack of it. If an individual have these virtues then its good, but if other are lack of these,
those who have should teach them and guide them in order for the lack ones to understand
and soon to possess this virtues.
Second, What is art for? The task of art is to make profound truths about life stuck in
our minds. In this statement, it may mean that every fact about life and every truth about life
are stuck in our minds; all we need to do is to seek for this in our mind and to share to those
people who want to hear about it.
Third, What are friends are for? Friendship is those you share virtues and cancel out
each others defects. Friendship teaches us what we ought to be. It is quite literally the best
part of life. Aristotle philosophy about friendship really inspired me because everyone should

accept their friend no matter who they are or what they are. Real friendship requires
acceptance.
Fourth, How can ideas out through a busy world? Because of his statement about
this question, I realized that everyone should share their ideas through public more
importantly if that idea has a thing to do for the community.
Aristotle philosophy is very inspiring to everyone. In order to understand our nature
and our community we should be able to observe things and consider their everyone needs
and if this things is good for them.
