Learning Theory Project

You will become an expert on one of the learning theorists featured in this unit. In order to
become and expert, you will thoroughly and appropriately research your theorist. Your research
will culminate in a presentation using iMovie. See options below.
Your options for your iMovie include:
Journalistic Interview:
Create an interview between a journalist and your learning theorist. Film this interview with
appropriate questions.
Documentary:
Film a documentary style film to share information about the great accomplishments of your
theorist.
Movie Trailer:
Create a movie trailer that gives a preview for the movie about your theorists life.
Additional option:
Have a great idea? Check with me and you can create your own format for sharing your
theorists accomplishments.
Components that must be included in your project:
Background information about your theorists life before they were famous.
Theory/School of thought your theorist subscribed to.
What made your theorist famous? Major accomplishments, studies, famous experiments,
etc.
What other theorists does your theorist agree with or pull inspiration from?
Current studies in your theorists area of expertise. How is their theory in practice today?
Why did your theorist leave a lasting impact? What is their relevance in Psychology and
on society as a whole?
What did you learn from interviewing a learning expert?
