Summer term 2009/2010 2 year
Education in medical chemistry and biochemistry in the summer term 2009/2010 for
the 2nd year students, English class, begins on Monday

FEBRUARY 22, 2010

2nd YEAR:
Lectures are held in the Lecture Hall ,U nemocnice 5 every Wednesday from 10:45 to
12:15 and every Thursday from 12.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Seminars are held every even week
groups 2,5 on Monday, from 2.15 to 3.45 p.m.
groups 1, 4 and 3 on Friday, from 2.15 to 3.45 p.m.
Seminars take place in the Lecture Hall U nemocnice 5
Practical lessons are held from 2.15 p.m. to 5.15 p.m.:
group 3,4 every Monday,
groups 5 every Tuesday,
groups 1 and 2 every Wednesday.
Practical lessons take place at the Institute of Biochemistry and Experimental Oncology,
U nemocnice 5.

Lecture attendance is recommended, whereas practical classes and seminars are obligatory.
(Studies Regulations of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, part II, Article no. 10). The prerequisite
of obtaining Credit is participation in obligatory forms of teaching and proof of an essential
volume of knowledge and skills. Students will be tested in two week intervals. The written
test will consist of 9 questions. Test evaluation: 0-3 correct answers = minus, 4-6 correct
answers = plus/minus, 7-9 correct answers = plus evaluation. To obtain a Credit, it is required
to get more plus than minus evaluations. Students´ preparations to a seminar will be assessed
randomly. Important: Students are obliged to wear his/her Student´s ID Card with a
photograph on a visible part of his/her outer garment. To participate in a practical class ,
second-year students are required to have a white lab coat, glass marker, notebook for records
and writing things, a padlock for garment box, plastic gloves and indoor shoes.
