QRH COMPOSING BRIEF — You have been asked by the Rio 2016 Olympic Committee to compose a fanfare to be performed during the opening of the Olympic Games. Your fanfare will be played as the Olympic Torch is lit, in the main Olympic Arena, as part of the opening ceremony. 1. Fanfares make things important, so they sound important — and are short, so think carefully about the choice of INSTRUMENTS and TIMBRES you use in your Fanfare.
