Survey Questions

Conclusion

1. Are you a male or female?

2. Are you in between the age of 6-10
or 11-20?

Overall, the
information acquired
because of this
survey was
extremely helpful,
very accurate and fit
well together. The
numbers matched
up nicely and made
complete sense with
no outliers. I
concluded that
people who drank
just 2 sodas a week
or more had high
tooth decay and
many cavities in the
past year. Also, I
concluded that these
same people were
much more likely to
undergo a major
procedure to their
teeth.

Survey Hypothesis
I believe that my survey will show that the
people who drink about 2-5 sodas per week
will have had multiple cavities within the last
year and if they admit to drinking more than 5
per week then they will have numerous
cavities along with a procedure done to their
teeth such as a root canal or a crown.

Which do you prefer?

The main purpose of this survey was to see

how well the amount of sodas and energy
drinks that people drink correlate with the
number of cavities and/or if they have had
major procedures on their teeth due to decay.

The target audience this survey was directed

to was mainly young adults with relatively new
teeth after the loss of their baby teeth. My
survey had 27 participants, all of the ages
from 11 to 20.

Has your dentist informed you about losing high amounts of enamal?

Yes

No

1. I believe that young boys from the age of 610 will have a high soda intake.
2. I think that teenaged girls from the age of
11-20 will have the lowest soda/energy drink
intake.
3. I believe that young boys from the age 6-10
who admit to not brushing twice a day will
have the most tooth decay.
