Reflection/Ashlynd Kyle
Overall, the observation and conference went really well I think. I interacted with
the students making sure that they were on task, and understood what to do.
Looking back afterwards, I realize that I could have made this go a lot quicker. For
example, showing all the answers, so students could be working on the ones that
they missed. This would have be better than the students wouldnt have to wait
then to work on correcting their mistakes. The writing passage was interesting to
work with overall. The group of kids were interacting, and answering my
questions. They were also showing their work which is really good. To have one
girl answer my questions took direct questions to ask her. She wouldnt offer up
answers otherwise. Personally, I think it was because she was very shy. The whole
group did really well on the passage.
