The class reading related to the concept of Dominant Logic is very relevant and

insightful. I completely agree with the point that each one of us has our own
interpretation about dominant logic. The reading material has given very relevant
examples like eradicating poverty and dominant logic for MNCs.
Dominant logic is the interpretation, understanding, established beliefs or a mindset
that organizations or other parties perceive. Dominant logic sometimes forced
parties to focus on their objectives only; therefore organizations are unable to see
all market opportunities at the BOP. Dominant logic is set of assumptions that
dictate the decision making and resource allocation processes. For example, how to
eradicate the poverty in a particular country may attract different response from
different parties. A business organization may believe that making product
affordable to all customers could be a step towards eradicating poverty. Whereas,
Government may believe that developing the infrastructure may help towards the
same. Therefore, dominant logic has an element of biasedness.
