October 12th, 2015: 15 minutes
The theme of the experiment is Halloween.
Students will make a prediction on the experiment and
describe the difference between their prediction and
the outcome.
Students will learn what a reaction is and why the
reaction happened in the experiement.
What is a reaction?
What do you predict will happen when you mix all of
the ingredients together?
Why did that reaction happen?
SK-2.A.2.1- Apply skills necessary to plan and conduct
an investigation
SK-2.A.2.1.2- Describe outcomes of an investigation
Students will be able to make a prediction based on
their knowledge of the information.
Students will be able to conduct an experiment and
follow directions to complete it.
Students will be able to differentiate between their
prediction and the outcome.
