Administrative Pharmacy
The Department of Social and Administrative
Pharmacy serves as a source of reference for social and
administrative aspects of pharmacy. It aims to prepare future
pharmacists with solid foundation of concepts and tools, as
well as to equip them with the ability to acquire and develop
new knowledge through research skills. We focus not only on
scientific cut humanistic education in understanding and
influencing stakeholders and systems. The integration of
various disciplines including social sciences, management
sciences, economics, epidemiology, psychology, anthropology,
communication, education, law and ethics is our main
emphasis on both the teaching and research endeavours.

The Graduate Program in Social and Administrative
Pharmacy was established with the goal to provide strong
higher education and a rich academic environment that helps
nurturing human resources to serve the needs of pharmacy
and health care systems, and to strengthen the development
of knowledge pertinent to the contexts of the counties and
the regions. The program places strong emphasis on
interdisciplinary and comparative knowledge, as well as
practical application of such knowledge to pharmacy and
health issues.
