Booking and cancelling tuition for pupils with regular lessons (student based in HK)
Tuition works best if it takes place regularly. The following chart describes our companys policy on booking and cancelling lessons for regular pupils attending one or more weekly lessons:

Extra notes:
1.

Please note that during holiday busy periods (Christmas, Spring Half-Term (Chinese New Year), Easter, May Half-Term, Summer and Autumn Half-Term) regular students will be
asked to cancel/retain their lessons across that period in advance. This is so that we can accurately predict the number of teaching hours that we can offer to our overseas
students who return from the UK. All parents will be asked to complete a Reply Slip. The deadline for response is usually two weeks before the start of the holiday period.
Lessons cancelled after the deadline will be charged.

Should the student arrive to the lesson 30 minutes or more after its timetabled start, AMG reserves the right to cancel the lesson on that day. Parents will be informed
immediately, and the student advised to return home. The lesson will still be charged. We advise students to be on time.

Note that prearranged doctors appointments and non-emergency dental and orthodontic appointments are not considered illness.

4.

Inclement Weather Policy

A cancellation is not required when a Typhoon Signal 8 or higher is in force, or a Black Rain Storm Warning is in force. Two hours after the lowering of these signals, lessons will
recommence and the normal cancellation policy will apply.

The hoisting of lesser signals will not affect our timetables.

5.

Cancellation by AMG: Should a lesson be cancelled by AMG due to illness of a tutor or due to adverse weather conditions, the lesson fee will not be charged.
