Mr. Samsul Hadi,
Human Resource Manager, PT. Siemens Indonesia, T. B. Simatupang Street Kav. 88, Jakarta 12520. Dear Mr. Hadi, I am applying for the position of Engineer in electricity, which was advertised on Dec. 12 in the career services center at Brawijaya University. The position seems fit very well with my education, experience, and career interests. According to the advertisement, your position requires computer literacy, an excellent communication skill, and good personality. I graduated from Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya majoring in Industrial Electronic Engineering. My study about the computer is about Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Proteus, AutoCAD, PSIM, and little of computers hardwares. I really master the AutoCAD. Therefore my final project deals with AutoCAD. Meanwhile in the communication, there are two types: written and oral in English. When I was in Vocational High School I got the runner up winner of speech contest. I am a responsible and easy going person. I always do jobs given to me well and finish them on time. I am easy to addapt to new environments; thus, I have a lot of friends and can work in team. Last month I got in plant training about electric maintenance and chrusher instrument in PT. Semen Indonesia. From this training my knowledge about sensors and motors increases more. The sensors cover Proximity Switch, RTD, Pull Cord, and Limit Switch which have any function for safety or to make the system run into next step. The motors are used in the factory have big capacity, like the motor with 11 KW capacity used for belt conveyor. For electric maintenance, i study about how to maintain trafo, inspect the motors, and check PLC system in the electrical room. When I was at the polytechnic, i joined in Motor division of EVC (Electric Vehicle Community). I got many lessons from that. Such as how to control the motor used inside vehicle also look for the suitable motor that used through calculation and afflication. If you think I met the qualification you need, I am grateful to have an interview at your most convenient time. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to your favorable response.
