Assalam-o-alikum everyone. I am muneeb.

Ladies and Gentlemen do you think people in Pakistan take polio campaign
seriously?
The same question was asked in our survey paper. 60%of people said no, 30% said
yes and 10% were not sure about that.
Ladies and gentlemen peace is the key factor of winning the war against polio. As
my friend said drone attacks at FATA and killing of more than 50 vaccinators are the
main reasons for increase in polio cases. So if we have to win the war against polio
we have to make peace in the regain.
Pakistan government is trying to eradicate polio in Pakistan especially form fata
through heroic efforts of frontline health workers. The number of polio cases in
Pakistan has dropped from a high of more than 20,000 cases a year to 58 cases in
2012. But we still are unable to win this war.
The World Health Organization has recommended strict travel restrictions on
Pakistan due to the rising number of polio cases in the country.
There are new guidelines form the public health arm of the United Nations, they
recommended that Pakistanis traveling abroad should present a polio vaccination
certificate.
Another problem in tribal areas is that they have there on theories that there is
some Alcohol in polio vaccine. And it is really difficult to recruit these people. But
recruitment in these areas is required if we really want to wit the war against polio.
