Downtown Vision, Inc.s Art Walk of Jacksonville has been a part of the
downtown experience for the last 12 years. Its purpose is to not only congregate
Jacksonvilles local artists to Hemming Park every first Wednesday of the month, but is
also a place for these artists to showcase their artwork. Art comes in many unique forms

Art Walk covers not only Hemming Park, but also extends to more than 15 blocks
full of local artists, live music, food and more excitement. Operating from 5 p.m. to 9
p.m., each monthly event has individual themes, but shares the same purpose of showing
art in endless forms. Art Walk creates an opportunity for the people of Jacksonville to
not only visit their historic downtown, but also a chance to experience the culture and
diversity of their city.
