The American Dream Project (Final Exam)

Thissemesterforyourfinalexamyouwillnotbetakingatest.Insteadyouwillspendthelasttwoweeksofclass
creatingaprojectthatanalyzesandexplainsyourviewsoftheAmericanDreamandhowyouthinkithaschanged
fromorhasbeeninfluencedbythegenerationsthatcamebeforeyou.

After reading a selection of culturally relevant texts, students will


develop a project that compares and analyzes the way the American
Dream is perceived across generations. Students should draw on their
understanding of cultural movements discussed in class and connect
them to their own cultural experiences.
