Learning Objective(s):
1. The student will be able to effectively record assignments in their school agenda/planner.
2. The student will be able to plan a daily study/homework schedule.
3. The student will be able to plan a weekly study/homework schedule.
Materials: Chalkboard/whiteboard and writing implement; agenda page handout; daily schedule
worksheet; weekly schedule worksheet; sample student schedule

Perception Data: Exit slip: Identify 3 things you include when copying an assignment into your planner.
Identify one way that planning your day can be helpful. Identify one way that planning your week can be
helpful. What is one thing you gain from managing your time?
Outcome Data: Pre- and post-lesson surveys for teachers to indicate number of students who
habitually dont turn in assignments or hand them in late after being reminded.
Follow Up: Work with students identified by teachers as having poor organizational and/or time
management skills on a more individual level (ie. daily check-ins for recording assignments, what is due
tomorrow, when will you do it, homework log for parents to sign)
