The author of this article is for marijuana because her good friend would benefit from it.
Medical marijuana can be used for those suffering with disabling and painful illnesses.
Drugabuse.gov says the two main parts of marijuana is THC and CBD which help to
reduce nausea, decreases pain, inflammation and muscle control problems. Cannabis has
also shown to be beneficial in treatment of cancer.

Marijuana has shown medical value for thousands of years. In 1960 marijuana was
classified as a schedule 1 drug. Marijuana being a schedule 1 drug hasnt allowed
significant research on medical marijuana. Medical marijuana has shown to be effective
for a plethora of reasons. The us government refuses to sanction the medical marijuana.

According to Keehbauch and Rensberry marijuana contains more than 60 Cannabinoids
some which have psychoactive effects. Cannabinoid receptors are located in the brain,

spinal cord, and lymph tissue. Marijuana can be inhaled, consumed in food, or as an
extract. there are actually 2 FDA approved Cannabinoids in the market which are
Marinol and Cesamet.

This article focuses on the effects of marijuana on adolescents. Theoretically medical
marijuana laws might make marijuana easier to obtain for adolescents. Some people
believe that once marijuana loses its taboo an increase of underage users will occur. A
report from the Marijuana Policy Project Foundation says that there was no notable
change in users after medical marijuana was introduced.

This website has information on both sides of medical marijuana. Deepal Cyril DSouza go3es
on to say that marijuana should be treated like other medications. He also adds that
marijuana needs to be heavily tested to determine its medical values. John a Benson says
that even if marijuana isnt the most effective treatment for some things, its an
alternative that is the only option for some. Marijuana when smoked provides a rapidonset drug effect which allows patients to instantly feel pain and nausea relief.
