OUR 2016 -at a glance

We wanted to give you an update on what we will

be investing in throughout the coming year and
beyond. We have been so blessed to be a part of 1
Body Global whos aim is to launch catalytic
disciple making movements by training people to
love God, Love others and make disciples who
make disciples. It is catalytic in that this
movement is spreading rapidly across the globe by
teaching people to approach the simplicity of the
gospel through obeying both the great commandment and the great commission (Mt 22 & Mt 28). We
have found so many people who are people of peace who have been waiting to hear the story of
Jesus and have responded by following Him. People being physically healed, demons being cast out
and families experiencing reconciliation. These are not abstract stories but real accounts from Tampa
USA, Haiti, The Dominican Republic, PNG, India, Cambodia, Thailand and right here in Australia.
For Mel & I, 2016 will be a year of high risk/low security living as we seek to raise ministry
partnerships to support us as we take the gospel forward here in Australia and also globally. Dave will
be travelling to Thailand, Cambodia & Burma in February as part of a a project that will be
documenting this move of God as people simply hear and obey the teaching of Jesus. Later in April he
will travel to Tampa in Florida and work with the 1 Body Global team in helping to establish the new
Tyrannus Community Training Centre in an area known as Suitcase City. Suitcase City is an area of
large immigration from Burma, Africa & South America and is one of the poorest, high crime areas in
the USA. Our objective is to work within a community empowerment model assisting young people to
break free from the cycle of crime and impoverishment through skills based training while training
them to be highly mobile disciples of Jesus. We would appreciate your partnership in this mission.

THE 1 BODY GLOBAL STORY

1 Body Global began with Jesus impressing on the heart of founding missionary Lee Wood, the need to
move beyond some of the traditional methods of church planting,
harnessing the strengths of the early church which was a mobile
missionary movement. Today, 1 Body is part of a revolutionary
movement that is mobilizing and equipping everyday people to hear
Gods call, form missional communities, and reach others until the
whole world knows Jesus. Disciple-making movements are creating
unprecedented impact for the kingdom worldwide. 1 Body wants to
see people obey the Great Commandment and the Great
Commission: Obey GC ". If the task our Lord left us is ever going to
be accomplished it will require His followers to be of that sort.
