About Me

My name is Maitha Al Mazrooei, I am a student teacher in fourth year

semester, 8 of Bachelor of Educational Primary program (EPR) at the
Higher Collage of Technology (HCT). I am interested in studying this major
and it is a great experience of studying it, in which it combines between
education and knowledge in the classroom environment. It is a necessary
element in this program to have teaching practice every semester.
The learner can learn through many different ways. Using different
strategies, activities and experiments are great ways to teach learners of
different learning styles.
The Educational Primary program (EPR), includes teaching for English,
Math and Since subjects. And I get an experience from teaching all these
subjects in government schools.
I designed this site to display my the methods and strategies that I applied in
my teaching practice, also I want to present what I archive and the
knowledge that I learnt through my teaching practice in different schools.
Furthermore, from this site I want to talk about my focus area which is
centers on the use of brainstorming and mind mapping strategies in the
Primary ESL classroom, to help students in the development of their writing
skills.
The purpose of the E-portfolio
The E-portfolio is contained a collection of my professional introduction
that is include the resume and teaching philosophy. I also wrote about my
best practice, report and observation and it is include different sections of the

five competences which are: professional and understanding, planning for

learning, implementing and managing learning, monitoring and assessment
and the last section is about reflection. In addition I will talk in my Eportfolio about the achievements, and my PDP goal.
