What is the military?

Military

are armed forced that serve

their country to protect using force of
war.

The

military are made of soldiers

Soldier

is the one who fight as part of an

organized land based armed force.

person in military service and especially

an enlisted.

General Image of The Military

Military leader, and people of society see soldiers as

warriors and heroes.

applause soldier for their courage and their

aggressiveness.

also see soldier as a representation of freedom and fight for peace.

How soldier see themselves?

Even

when society took great interest in what a soldier do, not a

lot of soldier is happy with what theyre doing.

see themselves at just doing service for the people

see themselves at killer, sometime it is a good and a bad

thing to view in ones self.

Functionalist View of The Military

War serve several important functions.

Increase

social solidarity as a society unites to defeat a

perceived enemy.

Military

usage include fighting for freedom and

democracy.

History of the military

The

military have made many contribution in term of

freedom and democracy. For example:
World

war 2, the military fought for freedom of the

European from Nazi Germany

Changes in The Military

Ever

seen the medieval days, military have

changes their method and reason.
The

military no longer fight on horses with bow and

arrow, military became much deadly since the
instruction of guns and bombs.

Instead

of fight territory, the military fight to maintain

freedom and order in foreign country.
The

cost of all these changes heavily lined in destruction of

property and lives.
But

the military would risk all small cost for the sake of the
bigger group.

Current state of the military

There were lots of changes but one

thing still remain the same and that
is the usage of soldier to fight war.

Men are still being sent oversea to fight

Live are still being risk to save and that have not
change.

Were stilling doing because of the amount of violence

in foreign country have been increasing.

Conflict theory of Military

The

cost and effect of the military is always up for a

debate.
Financially
Military

primarily advance the interests of the industrial

complex, which take billions of dollars from schools,
government funded programs, and health care.
In

return the people are paying for lets for foreign

resources such as gas.

And

the maintain violence level at a minimal level in

foreign countries.

The Cost of Military

Along

the expend of money, the individual is

also paying a price for the military.
The

individual is giving years of their live for

training, and even more time in combat.

What

is more important than time is the risk of

losing their live when the soldier is in combat.
The

family of these soldier also make a big factor in

the cost of military.
There

are parent risking their kids live and wife who may or may not
see their husband again.

Effect of the Military

For

member of other society, military

have been a tremendous help.
Even

those our own society is not benefiting

much from risk our own peoples lives.
Members

of other society is being keep save

under the influence of the US military.

US

military have base all over the world.

to give US the total dominance over anything that
is consider to be a national thread to society.
