Flower activity:
In the activity the answers will be at the paper, students have to match between the petals with
the answer. The teacher will model one flower to students to understand it. Then, she will give
the students the flower and petals to start the activity, also the students should have glue to
stick the petal with the flower. The important point of that is to glue part of the petal and that to
allow seeing the question and the answer.

Explain:
Teacher will explain the lesson using the PowerPoint; she will explain what expanding method
means and how to apply it. After that she will explain two examples first, and then she will ask
students to come to board and try to solve it.
Activity:
Each level will get worksheet and it fit their level. However, the teacher will ask students to do it
Individually, the teacher will be focusing with the low students more. In addition, she have to
check the middle and high students.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):
Puzzle:
The students have to match the question after solving with the correct answers. (Group) the
activity has three pieces; one has the question, second empty and last the answer. The students
have to solve the question in the empty paper and stuck the three pieces on A4 paper using the
glue. The activity is a formative assessment to see if the students understand the lesson or not.
