A paragraphs a simple way to organize your thoughts,
A paragraphs a simple ways to organize your thoughts,
Cos if you dont organize them,
Folks wont get the thoughts youve got,
A paragraph can organize a thought!

Verse 1:
Ive read a lot sentences, they showed a lot of thought,
But sometimes they werent well organized, and so the point was lost,
If they had only been arranged in paragraphs so neat,
I would have learned so much, and handed out some fours and threes,

Verse 2:
Spoken:
A paragraph begins with an idea in a sentence,
This is called the topic sentence, and it describes what youre writing about in your paragraph. Here is
an example:

My dog Bart is intelligent, I think he should get to vote,

This is your topic sentence, the idea youll promote,
Adults will say prove it, your point sounds pretty poor,
Until you give your intro several pieces of support,

Spoken:
The body of your paragraph is where you give supporting details, in the form of 3 to 5 sentences.

They body of your paragraph is where you show support,

To people who would question you, so they cannot retort,
Youll tell them hes intelligent, because he can tie my shoes,
He reads to me at night, and he always wins when playing Clue

Verse 3
Spoken:
The concluding sentence summarizes the paragraph. It often is a repeat of the introductory sentence, but
with different wording.

By now, most folks should be convinced that your dog Bart is smart,
But you want to remind them of your point, and hit them in the heart,
You choose to end your paragraph, by rephrasing your intro statement,
The repetition will remind them, and be quite persuasive,

Introduction, body, and conclusion, these can work on your behalf,

All these pieces put together, form a simple paragraph,
Use them wisely, and youll find that folks will understand your thoughts
So organize them nicely, and youll be understood a lot
