Mikes has a solid grasp on instructional planning in regards to the time and focus required to produce quality lessons
for the primary grades. Mike satisfactorily produced weekly lessons that included all subjects for the 2nd grade
students.

Mike did well to provide a variety of activities for the 2nd grade students. Observed activities included cooperative
learning, group interactions, questioning, independent learning. Planned activities showed creativity and attention to
building a positive class culture through students' interpersonal relationships.

Mike has the heart of a teacher. He is compassionate and caring toward his students. During my observations, it was
evident that he genuinely enjoyed being with the students. He is patient and composed at all times.
He continues to grow in the area of engaging students by being the "captain of his ship" and not allowing student to
hijack the lesson through talking and petty off-task behavior. I believe that Mike will continue to grow in this area with
experience and accountability with his own classroom.
