Beethoven, Justin Bieber and Tim Tebow all have one thing in common. Their
mothers were all told to have an abortion. Beethoven, Justin Bieber and Tim Tebow all
turned out to be very successful people. If they were aborted our society would have
missed out on some very talented males. Killing a fetus will eliminate the chance of a
person making a significant positive difference in the lives of others.
Every fetus deserves to live. A fetus never did anything wrong to a human so it has
no reason to be murdered. Every fetus should be given the opportunity to grow in to a
human being and be able to live a life that they deserve. Killing a fetus is just as bad as
killing a baby, child or an adult. Letting a fetus grow inside you, transforms the fetus into
a human being. From conception to death we are all human beings. A fetus is just a
different stage of a human being. If its wrong to kill an infant because it has the
potential to develop rational thought, then it would also be wrong to kill the fetus since it,
too, has the potential to develop rational thought(2).
Beethovens mother already had four children when she was pregnant for her fifth
child which was Beethoven. One of her children had already died, one was blind, one
was deaf and one had tuberculosis just like Beethovens mother. Beethovens father
was an alcoholic and had syphilis. There was a ninety percent chance that something
was going to be wrong with Beethoven as well, if his mother chose to raise him. With
the help of others Beethovens mother choice to have Beethoven and raise him. When
Beethoven was seventeen years old his mother and sister died, and his father lost his
job. It was up to Beethoven to provide for his family. If Beethoven was aborted no one in
his family would have been able to provide for them. His family would have been so
poor that they would have died from starvation. Beethoven was twenty eight when he

began to lose his hearing. Beethoven didnt fully lose his hearing until the last ten years
of his life. Beethoven faced a very hard childhood. Beethoven became one of the most
famous composers of all time. His music was so successful that people still listen to it,
even in todays time. If Beethovens mother chose to have an abortion it would of made
a big impact in our lives today. Since he was one of the most successful males in our
world and changed our history. With having an abortion we never know what kind of
person is inside of the fetus. It could be someone thats just as famous as Beethoven, or
it could be the next prime minister so you never know who you are killing by having an
abortion. Justin Bieber was another example of a guy who became so famous, and
could have been aborted. Justins mother was seventeen was she was pregnant for
Justin. She was single and wasnt sure who the dad was. She already had a tough past
and wasnt sure if she could raise Justin by herself at that age. Justins mom was
encouraged to have an abortion by her family and friends. With the help of God she
chose to keep and raise Justin. Justin became world famous at the age of fourteen. He
is now one of the most famous singers in todays generation. If he was aborted his mom
might of continued living a poor life style and a terrible life, Justin changed her life in a
positive way.
Abortion uses the symbolic interactionism theory. Symbolic interactionism is a
sociological perspective that is influential in many areas of the sociological discipline.
Woman have abortions because they are at stages in life were there unable to raise a
baby. Some reasons that women have abortions are that, they are single and not
married, they dont know who the father is, they are unable to afford the baby, they
arent ready for that stage in life, and the pregnancy was unexpected. Society

influences women to have abortions based on their situations. If abortion was legal
then it wouldnt be so easy for a woman just to end a fetuss life. Adoption is a great
option for a woman if she doesnt want to raise the baby. Women that are thinking about
having an abortion should go through some counselling first, so they realize what they
are doing is wrong and is murder. Humans should be responsible for their actions. So if
we chose to have sex for pleasure and get pregnant then we shouldnt have the choice
to have an abortion. We should be forced to have the baby for a consequence since it
was a mistake. It shouldnt be that easy for a woman to get out of a pregnancy. Abortion
makes it easy for women to get out of a pregnancy. If a woman has an abortion and
finds it easy she will be fine with it. She may make abortion a habit, and keep having
them. The Catholic Church states that having sex for pleasure and not for creating a
baby is wrong. That is one of the biggest reasons the Catholic Church is against
abortion. If the baby wasnt created on purpose then it was against the catholic laws.
The Catholic Church believes that killing a fetus is murder, just at a different stage of
life. Conception is the beginning of life and every human should look at it that way.
There has been a lot of talk about abortion when a woman finds out that the baby is
going to have a disorder. No matter how the human is, there should be no exception for
abortion. If God puts extra sacrifices in our lifes we should accept them and learn from
them and not take the easy way out and have an abortion.

In conclusion when we kill a fetus it is silently making a huge difference in our future.
We dont know who that fetus is when its in the womans belly but it could be the next
Beethoven, or prime minster or the next most famous scientist. A girl named Judy

Servos who happens to be my sister was a survivor of a failed abortion. If the abortion
worked, my life would have been totally different today. Judy is now a French teacher.
Judy isnt the next Beethoven or the next prime minster, but she is my sister and means
just as much as they would mean to me. Abortion has affected my life in a strong way
and because of abortion, I could have one less sister, who I couldnt picture my life
without.
