a. IvelearnedabouttheHabitsofHeartandMind,whichare:Refinement,Evidence,
Mindfulness,Perspective,Cooperation,CompassionandPerseverance.Ivelearnedfrom
myteachersandtheupperclassmenthatthesearethegoalswecreatethroughallfour
yearsofhighschool.Wesetthesegoalstobethebestwellroundedstudents,insideand
outsideofschool.

2. Workingingroups:Howhasithelped?Whatgoalsdoyouhavetomakeitworkbetter?
a. Personally,Ithinkworkingingroupsisahugeadvantage,becausewecancombineour
ideasforthebestproduct.Duringgroupprojects,wecanlearnfromeachothersstrengths
andweaknesses.Groupprojectsalsobalanceoutthepressure,becauseyoucanbackeach
otherupwhenyourepresentingtheproject.

3. Organization:Whatgoalsdoyouhavetobecomeand/orstayorganized?Whyisitso
important?
a. Thankfully,Iamanaturallyorganizedperson,butlatelyIfindmoreclutterthanusualin
mybinder.Iamgoingtostayorganizedbycleaningoutmybinderonceaweek.Ithink
itsimportanttostayorganized,soitseasiertofindimportantpapers,especiallyfor
groupprojects.

4. Whatdoyouneedtoworkonthemostsuccessfulineachclass?
a. Ibelieveencouragementfrommypeersisimportant.Butalso,seeingotherpeople
workinghardisencouragingforme,becauseIdontwanttodistractthem,becauseIhate
whenpeoplearedistractingmewhileImworking.

a. HTHCVisaverymellow,familylikecommunity,sobeingpositiveisprettyeasy
already.Iwastoldlastyearbythepastfreshman,thatitsbestifyoustayfocusedon
yourworkandtonotgetintodrama,sothatswhatImgoingtodo.HTHCVmakes
educationfun,soImgonnahaveagoodtimeatschool,butImstillgoingtogetmy
workdone.

1. IfIweretodoaprojectover,IwoulddothePerspectiveProjectagain.Ilearnedalotforthat
project,butIwishIwouldveresearchedmoretoaddmoreevidenceandreasoningtomy
Mythbuster.

2. Iusuallyseekforhelpfrommypeersand/orteachers.IaskforhelpfromteacherswhenIeither
needacademichelpandevenwhenIneedhelpfromawiserperspective.Although,Iappreciatea
moreexperiencedmind,Ilovehearingfromeitheroneofmyclosestfriendsandevensomeofthe
upperclassmen.

3. Ifeelmostconnectedtoourschoolwhenourhardworkisexhibited.AfterIputmyeverything
intoasimpleproject,IjustlovehearingthecritiquesandthecommentsIgetonthoseprojects,
becauseithelpsmeunderstandhowotherpeopleareseeingmyworkandhowIcanconnectwith
them.
