American Indian Identity Questions
What is politically correct?
In my personal opinion, the term Native American is the most
politically correct term.
What is offensive?
When speaking about my ethnicity, not much offends me.
Although when speaking about Native Americans, I would try to
avoid using the terms savage or engine.
What should we call ourselves?
I think everyone should say whatever they believe is the correct
term, but I will call myself, and teach my family to call ourselves,
Native Americans.
What makes you Indian?
My ancestors and family history is what makes me an Indian
today. Outside of that, I dont take part in any cultural activities.
