ROUND I (DURATION 15 MINUTES) (ELIMINATION ROUND)


MCQ : 20 Multiple Choice Questions based on programming skills
Every correct answer 2 marks and for every wrong answer 1/2 marks
Top 25% with positive score will be eligible for Round II.
Break (15 minutes) for assessment
ROUND II (DURATION 20 MINUTES)
Write short programs in C / C++ / Python
Top 25% or 3 participants with positive score whichever is higher will go to round III.
Break (15 minutes) for assessment
ROUND III (PROGRAM DEBUGGING DURATION 15 MINUTES)
Students are expected to debug the given program.
Logically correct output will qualify for prize
Students will be sorted in ascending order of time and first three with logically correct
lowest time will be eligible for award

Event :Need For Speed (N.F.S.)


Event Type : Individual

Venue : Compute Lab No. 1


Time : 10.00 am

Rules :-

Round I
1. Students will be divided into groups of 4 as per their registration for the game.
From these groups of 4 students 1 students from each group [position no 1 ] displayed by
the game will go to round II

Round II
2. 1 students selected as above will form a group of 4 students. In round II they will play for
single lap. Only one student will go to round III from each group.
3. 1 student selected from round II from each group will form a group of 4 students.

Round III
4. In round III they will play 3 lapses defined by the game. Only one participant will be
selected as winner.
The no of lapses in each round and the number of students selected for the next round
will depend on the total no of students participating in the game.
5. Game Type: Circuit \ Sprint
6. Winning a race: The winner of a race is the first player to complete all laps of the circuit
course and cross the finish line or first player to complete and cross the sprint track.
7. At the end of each match, players must maintain the final screens and receive
confirmation from a referee.
8. Winner will decided by Referee.

Rules : Team Size : 5 Fixed


1. Rounds: 3 Rounds, Max rounds format. The first team that scores 2 rounds wins and the
match ends immediately.
2. Round Time: 3 minute / round
3. Sides: (Counter-Terrorist / Terrorist) will be announced before the match or decided by a
coin toss.
4. Students can use their own head phones.
5. Team members may communicate verbally if they are alive in the match or when all team
members are dead.
6. If a player continues to communicate after he/she is killed, the team may be given a
warning or lose by default at the referees sole discretion.
7. Buying of SNIPER RIFILE is prohibited

The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
The use of mobile or other electronic instruments is strictly prohibited.
The questions shall be of the type : logo identification, multiple choice, Rapid fire, Point
out the mistake or other type decided by the prof-in-charge.
4. Replacement of any participant in a team is not allowed after registration

Team discussion is allowed.
If it is not answered within 15 seconds, question will be passed to next team. The
second team will answer in 5 seconds. If they answer correctly, team will be awarded

In case of tie only one question will be given to teams.

Rules :1. Knock out base tournament
2. Time limit for each round is 20 minutes.
3. After 20 minutes counting will start. Those who will loss less point or check mate the
opponent; will go to the next round.
4. In case of tie break i.e. same point, 2 more minutes will be provided and elimination will
be based on time.

The team of 2 students will be formed by students themselves
Entry will be team wise. They will be identified as T1, T2, T3, T4,T5,T6 etc..
Maximum time: 10 Mins (each team will speak for 5 min : 3 min in first chance and 2
minutes after opponent speak in second chance)
From this round 2 best teams who have spoken in favor and 2 best teams who have
spoken against will be selected for round II
In round II the procedure in step (3) will be followed. From this round one best team
who have spoken in favor and one best team who have spoken against will be selected
for final round.
In round III or final round step (3) will be followed.
The best team with highest score will be eligible for first prize and the next highest team
will be for second prize
In each round separate topic will be given for debate.
Each team will have to prepare for in favor and in against. Whether to speak in favor or
against will be decided randomly. The decision of judge will be final.

4. Each participant can submit up to three (3) images.
5. Each image should be clearly labeled with the participants CODE at the back side.
(CODE will be provided at the time of registration).
6. Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed.
7. The organiser reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details
8. All submitted images are non-returnable.
9. Each image submitted must be the original and unpublished work of the participant who
must also be its copyright owner.
10. By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having
granted the organiser the right to use the image in print, broadcast and/or electronic
media without any fee payment, for the purposes of promoting the competition or areas
related to the organizer
