WHATS HAPPENING IN THE CLASSROOM?

We are beginning Unit 4: Bravery. So
far we have read Owl Moon and
Thundercake. Two of my favorites!
Ask your child what these books have
to do with bravery.

<<<Math>>>
Unit 4 in Math is all about the basics.
We started off with rounding and will
be zooming in on multi-digit addition
and subtraction. (Think re-grouping)
Students completed their first Quick
Quiz over rounding to the nearest 100
and 10. Check out the video on Dojo!

sent home
nonfiction chapter books. Theres a lot

{TEACHER NOTES}

Dont worry theyre not hiding their spelling words ;) No Words Their Way this week. We start new
groups Monday
I may start sending more work home this semester if its not finished in class. This will provide extra
practice as well as preparation for the homework to come in 4th and 5th grade!
