Creation of Active Directory AWS-AD Connetor Service

Step 1: Click Directory Service under Administration & Security in AWS

console

Step 2: Click on Set up directory to create a directory

Step 3: Click on Create AD Connetor to create a directory gateway to

your on-premises Microsoft Active Directory

Step 4: Provide the information

(i)Directory DNS(Your DNS Name)
(ii)NetBIOS name
(iii)Connector account username
(iv)Connector account password
(v)DNS address
(vi)Directory size(large or small)

Step 5: To setup a directory you need to select a VPC and two subnets
to isolate your directory only reachable by your instance)
and click NextStep

Step 6: Verify all details and click on Create AD Connector

Step 7: Now directory is Active

Step 8: click on Apps & Services to enable for this directory

Step 9: Directory details of the Directory

Step 10:While Configuring EC2 instance Select the fallowing

(i)Network (VPC)
(ii)Domain join directory(DNS )
(iii)IAM role
