Product Overview
is a quick economical way of horizontal or vertical distrubution for electrical, wires;
telecomunication cables as well as data cables.
EAE
TRUNKING
SYSTEM
is a steel trunking system with return edge.

is manufactured from 1,2 mm thick Pre-galvanised sheet steel.
is manufactured in standard 3 meters lengths .

Straigth sections and fittings are supplied with cover.

Each standard length cover has 3 locking points . Each point has 2 locks in 100-150 mm width and one lock in
50-75 mm width.
There are 2 optional locking systems.
a) TKS Trunking Cover has quick fix turn buckle which enables locking and unlocking by a simple quater turn.
Latchs are under cover which lock and unlock the channel and the cover.
b) TKL Trunking has special design with clips. Clip has got two parts, one part is hook which is mounted on cover
by 4 rivets. Other part is on channel and mounted same way.
Earthing Continuty is very important for data and telephone cables so, in each straight section or fitting module
has 2 earthing contunity points, up and down side of the trunking joint point. 2 x Earthing Links , which are
made from copper, are used for each joint point.
For every joint, 2 x joint unit has to be considered.
a) For 50-75 mm trunking joint unit, 2 x Joint Bolt Set (M6x12 Mushroom Head Squared Neck Bolt and Serrated
Flange Nut ) should be used.
b) For 100 mm trunking joint unit, 4 x Joint Bolt Set (M6x12 Mushroom Head Squared Neck Bolt and Serrated
Flange Nut ) should be used
c) For 150 mm trunking joint unit, 6 x Joint Bolt Set (M6x12 Mushroom Head Squared Neck Bolt and Serrated
Flange Nut ) should be used
All fitting modules have integral joint unit and gusseted construction to allow smooth turninig of cables.
On all the cable routes, EAE Trunking System has curved angles on the turning points.
General Specification for Pregalvanised Trunking :
Pregalvanized steel is zinc coated by a hot dip process . Steel strip from a coil is fed through a continuous zinc
coater which cleans, fluxes and coats the steel with molten zinc . After cooling, the steel is recoiled .
The pregalvanized zinc coating conforms TS EN 10143 and the thickness of coating is min. 12 microns.
Painted (Epoxy-polyester) Trunking systems are also available upon request.
Epoxy-polyester paint in RAL Code is applied by electrostatic powder coating method. The layer of paint
coating is min.60 microns thick.
