What are you going to accomplish? Be specific.

I am going to accomplish memorizing a song and then choreograph it

with my group. I will then perform it in front of the class.
How will you know you are ready to perform?
I know when I am ready to perform when I am still a little nervous
about performing, but I still have all my lines and moves down.

What are the challenges you will face in meeting your goal?
The challenges that I will face is memorizing everything and still
remembering it when I perform.

What skills, concepts, and vocabulary will you apply in working towards
your performance?
Memorization, choreography, working together, and harmony is
something I will apply in working towards my performance.

What elements of this experience are transferrable to the real world?

I think that there will be times when youre not 100% certain about
announcing something in front of a group of people, like when youre
presenting a new idea or a lecture.

What is your timeline to become performance-ready?

The timeline was to first fit the lyrics to the song. Then, we memorized
the lyrics and started to choreograph the dance moves. After that, we
just practiced it over and over again.

After your performance:

The standard descriptions are at the left. For each
standard, self-assess YOUR individual progress and
achievements (4, 3, 2, 1), and give an explanation for each score.

age of broadway. This was a time
of rivaled competition, a strong

coupled with heartbreak and
disappointment. After that, you
always had to just pick yourself up

this by the lyrics: Even with a

Ive always liked being part of a

group when performing, mainly
because if I mess up, theres a
chance that I would be drowned
out by the other performers. And
to me, I guess its just fun to
perform together with people I
enjoy being around. This is the
reason why I decided to be a duet
with Maddie instead of just
solo-ing like Lauren, who wanted
to be more independent and sing
by herself. this made us split into
three groups: Meryl and Clare,
Maddie and I, and Lauren. We
split up the lyrics and
choreography for each group, This
helped us remember lyrics since
we didn't have to memorize all the
lyrics.
