1.1. Create Assessment Cost Element
Purpose
Assessment is the method provided by sap to allocate primary and secondary cost element from one cost
center to other CO object
This method is designed to group together multiple cost element and reclassify them as a single
secondary cost element while simultaneously allocating them the original cost element are not displayed
on the receivers. Allocation through assessment is useful when the composition of the cost is unimportant
for the receiver.

Enter Controlling area : 1900
Purpose
Planning functions start the cost center accounting module with primary cost planning primary cost
expenses are salaries & wages, Power and Fuel, engineering services, travel expenses , miscellaneous
expenses.
Trigger
This transaction is used to post the planning primary cost to cost center.
Prerequisites
Check whether you select the correct cost planner profile
Menu Path : SAP easy Access Accounting Controlling Cost center Accounting Planning Cost
and Activity Inputs KP06 Change.

Purpose
Assessment is the method of cost allocation by which you allocate cost from a sending cost center to the
receiver cost center using secondary assessment cost element
Trigger
This session used to execute the assessment Cycle.
Prerequisites
Assessment cycle has been maintained for the upcoming Planning year.
