Hello,
Hope this letter finds you well. I am Bethany Gregory, the current STEM coach at Central
Cabarrus High School. I wanted to email you to inform you about _______s academic progress
in STEM. CCHS STEMs Academic Standards Policy indicates that students must maintain
above an 80% average in all STEM core classes with no failing classes in or outside of STEM to
remain in good academic standing.
A review of _______ recent report card (October 2015) indicated that his current STEM average
is _______%. As a result, _______ has been placed on academic probation in the STEM
program. Failure to achieve this standard by the end of semester could result in his departure
from the STEM program at Central Cabarrus High School and enrolling in his districted high
school.
Please sign and date the attached academic probation contract as soon as possible. If you would
like to request a parent/teacher conference to discuss an action plan for _______, we would be
happy to do so.
Please feel free to email me or _______ teachers with any additional questions or concerns. Hes
a great student and we want to make sure we can assist however we can.
