INT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
BLACK and WHITE
ONE TAKE
The room is vibratory red lit.
ALL THE DIALOGUE IS FRENCH and includes ENGLISH SUBTITLES, or
the other way around like its for a French audience.
There are two occupants of this shady MOTEL, one MAN and one
WOMAN. Very clear what their deeds are for the night.
Laying on the bed, the man - ALDRIC - wearing a formal
WHITE SHIRT and TIE with TROUSERS, looking like hes finished
his work shift at a desk job and needs to relax. The
PROSTITUTE hovers in the background without a top, we never
see her face just her back.
The man well come to know is a Private Investigator,
enjoying his free time. He is not a man of morals, or any
importance, just wants to live his life without loosing it.
Alderic is puffing away on his CIGARETTE.
OFF-SCREEN: WE HEAR a conversational piece between Alderic
and his blackmailer Absolon, as they discuss what hes to do
next.
ABSOLON calls Alderic. Absolon is a politician a few
countries away, he acts as Alderics boss even though it is
mainly through blackmailing he gets to boss him around.
SILENCE upon the phone being answered.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
There are stories many a
millennias ago of humans
breathing, Alderic, but none
recorded of such events.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Speak of the devil.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
You love it.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
I should know better than to pick
up the telephone.

ABSOLON (V.O.)
Sounds like your doing fine on your
own.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Close to it.
SOUNDS of SHUFFLING through the phone call. Alderics look
over his shoulder.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
Your daughter has been wandering
where her mother is. Although,
Dorothys been enjoying the
company.
(Beat)
Whats the time over there?
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Too late. What is it this time?
ABSOLON (V.O.)
Never one for small talk, never shy
away from the point do you? DEWITT
ELONORE. All I have got to give
you is that theres some chatter
over the red light district side of
France.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
I cant keep doing these deeds,
Absolon. Im a PI, not your
henchman.
(Sighs)
Whys he not flipping?
ABSOLON (V.O.)
Some men are harder to please than
others.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Hope this isnt about the bill
passing?
(Absolon CHUCKLES)
Youre not giving me much of an
option to say no to this.
ABSOLON
You can just walk away from this,
less innocent deaths if you ask me,
but you wont. This is how favours
work in my line of work, and over
here I owe someone and I own you,
Alderic.

ALDRIC (V.O.)
So, chatter in the red light
district, you say? I'll take a
gander. I'll give my sister a visit
while Im up there.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
The whore. I might have paid her a
visit a few times, or another.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
The Nihilist romantic.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
Runs in the family. Were teaching
your little girl religion,
Dorothys trying Muslim on her and
Im trying Judaism out on her.
Well let her pick what she wants
when shes older.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Politicians cam be sneaky, Absolon.
Why this fellow anyhow?
ABSOLON (V.O.)
(Negation)
God told me to.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
God?
(Beat)
Did not know you go to church. What
if I get caught? Politicians scare
the shit out of me, eerie shit in
that business.
ABSOLON (V.O.)
Pray to which ever gods still
remain, or that the bill passes.
(Laughs)
ABSOLON (V.O.)
You wont have to worry about the
grit after this one as well. Not
even curious about what your girl
is up to?
(Long Beat)
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Must be big if this is my last deed
for you. Grease can be hard to pick
up, harder to clean up, near
impossible even.
(MORE)

ALDRIC (V.O.) (CONT'D)
So speak up about his grease.
(No response)
Is that all there is?

CUT TO:
POV of a CARS HEADLIGHTS patrolling the midnight streets of a
city.
TITLE SEQUENCE
To fit Alderics ending quote he is played off by Peggy Lees
1969 - Is That All There Is?.
FADE TO BLACK.
PITCH BLACK
A TAPE RECORDER starts rolling.
SHUFFLING to get closer to the conversation.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Hear about the clock?
JEAN (V.O.)
Those bastards lowered it didnt
they?
(Beat)
Always knew Id get rung-up by an
American some how.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
What did this one do?
JEAN (V.O.)
Got busted for bribing some Justiceridden rookie.
(Chuckles)
ALDRIC (V.O.)
(Sarcasm)
He surely knows how to get
promoted, I know this fucker.
JEAN (V.O.)
You do.
ALDRIC (O.S.)
Doesnt this coconut work for
Dewitt? Speak of the devil.

JEAN (V.O.)
He surely does, why dont you come
on in...
Jean lures Alderic into the interrogation room. The one
secretly recording the conversation. But why?
FADE IN:
EXT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - NIGHT
SLOW MOTION SHOT as WE PATROL the whore filled streets of the
red light district from THE SIDE like WERE in some sort of
CAR.
Most the WHORES we pass by wear FUR COATS, SCARFS, and
FISHNETS.
ALDRIC (O.S.)
Followed up on frequent spots,
common spending grounds.
DRUMS BEAT ENDS
INT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - APARTMENT 119 - NIGHT
Vibrant red fluorescent lights portraying this even more
wonderful nests of organism laying unconscious. There are
people passed out, either from drugs or drunkenness to a
comatose state.
TRACKING SHOT: of Alderic as he passes by these vermin laying
on the floor, none of them not even conscious enough to know
what ethnicity the PI was.
EXT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - NIGHT
PICK UP THE SAME PREVIOUS SHOT, DIFFERENT HAPPENINGS, AND
INCLUDES THE SLOW DRUM BEAT.
INT. GRANDEUR HOTEL - BAR - NIGHT
Sitting at the BAR, facing his back towards US is our savoir
Alderic enjoying a COLD BEER and his habit of smoking.
Alderic looks over and unknown to him at the time he spots
ALEXANDRINE the girl who is after, she spots him. They stare
for a few moments, strangers to each other. Unaware of each
others identities.

A lady by the name of CLAUDETTE enters the FRAME, puts her

hand upon Alderic, he looks up at her and she sits down
without batting a look.
A lady of the night, she doesnt dress the part.
CU of Claudette SMIRKING, with her bright red lipstick.
INT. THEATRE - NIGHT
This aint no regular movie going theatre youd be so casual
with, this is one of the theaters youd have to go to just to
catch the news or your daily cartoons.
MEDIUM SHOT of BOTH ALDERIC and CLAUDETTES backs facing us,
sitting and waiting for the picture show to begin.
Theatre is as smoke-filled as a Bob Marley concert. Smokings
allowed in this theatre.
For a split second a subtitle is apparent and disappears on
the PICTURE SCREEN.
SUBTITLE APPEARS

CLAUDETTE

ALDERIC
It depends. Im pretty exhausted,
the truth would be good.
CLAUDETTE

Another subtitle follows up on the picture screen.

its implied. Lie about whatever all
you want, just not want Im after.
CLAUDETTE

ALDERIC
Im not happy today.
CLAUDETTE

ALDRIC

CLAUDETTE
Things dont go your way? Yeah.
(Eyes judging him)
What do you do? And do not answer
you.
(Rolls eyes)
A CARTOON AD BEGINS on the PICTURE SCREEN.
ALDRIC
PI, a privCLAUDETTE
Private investigator, yeah. Ive
had my fair share.
ALDRIC
Im not rich, if thats what youre
asking.
CLAUDETTE
Im not a succubus, if thats what
youre insinuating.
ALDRIC
Party a lot in the red light?
CUT TO:
INT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - APARTMENT 119 - NIGHT
Tracking back in time to when Alderic was inspecting the
junkie/whore home.
CLAUDETTE (O.S.)
Lil bit.

See much people?
CLAUDETTE (O.S.)
Thatll be extra, honey.
CUT TO:
INT. THEATRE - NIGHT
The Theatre now into its main event, the news. It goes
through a few stories whilst Alderic partially ignores it; a
horrific hanging protest in the Middle East is reported, a
mother speaks about her daughter going missing and she is
surrounded by ETHNICS without their shirts in the streets,
Communist party is for Bill Castrate, and then the rest of
the news is a debate about an impending nuclear holocaust.
ALDRIC
Including our tickets? You preach
highly of yourself for someone in
your line of work.
CLAUDETTE
Who you looking for, sunshine?
ALDRIC
Youre an angel.
(Inhales and exhales)
A girl apparently, and who am I
after? Dewitt Eleonore, thats who.
(Claudette shakes her
head)
Claudette reaches out her hand caressing his hair and looking
at him, showing affection towards him.
CUT TO:
CU of SOMEONE ELSES HAND caressing a YOUNGER BOYS HAIR.
SLOW DRUM BEAT RETURNS
EXT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - NIGHT
PICK UP THE SAME DOLLY SHOT, DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND MORE
HAPPENINGS.

INT. GRANDEUR HOTEL - ROOM 233 - EARLY MORNING

Claudette and Alderic enjoy a coffee together on the bed.
Theyre both stripped down in their underwear. Tattoos are
revealed on her pale body.
CLAUDETTE
I just saw myself in the mirror
that one time, and saw someone
completely different.
ALDRIC
How do I know youre not lying?
Alderic feels that back of his head where she caressed it.
CLAUDETTE
Hmmm, good q. That girl your
looking for...
SLOW DRUM BEAT ARRIVES, GIVING OFF EERIE AMBIENT FEELINGS.
CLAUDETTE (CONTD)
Her names Alexandrine. That news
report of the mother who lost her
daughter, thats her mumma.
Alderic notes it down in a little NOTEBOOK of his.
ALDRIC
(to Himself)
Alexandrine.
Alderic gets up and begins to get changed. She watches
intently.
CLAUDETTE
See them together. Them being
herself and Mr Eleonore.
ALDRIC
Any actual evidence?
She nods in disagreement with a pout of a face attached to
it.
All dressed. Alderic leaves the apartment.
She follows. Frantic as she can be, although half naked
chases after Alderic.

10.

INT. GRANDEUR HOTEL - FOYER - EARLY MORNING

The escaping man, Alderic passes by the CONSIGNOR and then
retracts his steps as if he made a mistake.
ALDRIC
Consignor, or garcon? There is a
lady without an escort harassing
me! See to her if you will.
Without question the Consignor back tracks Alderics previous
steps out into the FOYER.
WE FOLLOW
The Consignor finds the half-naked woman, Claudette.
CONSIGNOR
Madame, do you not know our policy
of this establishment? Females are
not allowed entry without an
escort. Please follow me, for good
riddance.
INT. ALEXANDRINES APARTMENT FLOOR - EVENING
Alderic knocks upon a door, presumably Alexandrines door or
her families.
No answer.
Que lock pick action, open sesame!
INT. ALEXANDRINES FAMILY HOME - EVENING
No one is home.
INSPECTS - a TICKET to a DRIVE-IN MOVIE, most likely
Alexandrines.
INSPECTS - calendar, its tonight.
INSPECTS - family photos.
Alderic finds one of Alexandrine and stores it.
EXT. DRIVE-IN THEATRE - NIGHT
POV of a CARS HEADLIGHTS moving through the parking.

Trench coat Alderic goes for a casual walk around the

parking, inspecting people.
WE HEAR a NEWS TUNE in the background.
A NEWS REPORT COMES ON THE SCREEN. WE ONLY HEAR THE REPORT.
NEWS REPORTER (O.S.)
... if anyone is the see this
woman. Please, call in to your
local authorities. She is an
international terrorist working
with the Albanians in a plot to do
with the doomsday clock.
Alderic already knows what it is, fabricated.
He approaches a FAMILY CAR, with 3 familiar people inside.
One of them being SINCLAIR the crying mother of Alexandrine,
the other being CORSAIR the beautiful younger 21-year-old
sister of Alexandrine, and lastly the mute father MARCEL.
MEDIUM SHOT on the FRONT HOOD looking at the SHOCKED FAMILY.
Alderic leans into the DRIVERS WINDOW.
ALDRIC
It isnt true, I know. Call in the
mutes translator, Ill be over
tomorrow morning.
CU of MARCEL staring at Alderic.
TRACKING SHOT of Alderic as he leaves the family in a
questionable state of confusion and speechless as to what
just happened and why is this happening.
SLOW DRUM BEAT RETURNS.
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN:
INT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
The same room from the beginning, although missing the
prostitute. Alderic, wearing a singlet, is sitting at the end
of the bend, back bent, smoking his casual cigarette.
MEDIUM SHOT of ALDERICS BACK.
Raises a twirly CORDED TELEPHONE to his head.

ALDRIC
My friend tells me... My boss tells
me... My therapist tells me I need
to feel loved. Why is that?
(Deep exhale)
Mother she reckons.
(Laughs)
Like what? All she did was walk out
on father. Father reckoned it to be
a blessing at first, but he got
lonely. Father also said things.
Wasnt long until he departed.
In a burst of random anger he throws the wired telephone
across the room, smashing something in the background.
INT. ALEXANDRINES FAMILY HOME - EARLY MORNING
Coffee steam is rising from the mugs in the FAMILY ROOM.
Alderic already familiar with the home, they dont know this
though.
ALDRIC
A lot of questions Im sure but I
need to be the one asking
questions. NowCORSAIR
Are you the police!?
ALDRIC
Of sorts. NowCORSAIR
Then we have no enquires with you.
ALDRIC
Youd rather the kidnapper or
murderer get away with such a
thing?
BIG HEAD CU of Marcel eyeing Alderic.
CORSAIR
Who says any of that? She used to
run away a lot as a child.
ALDRIC
So did I, and so did you. If she
ran away she would have taken you
with her, and you know that.
Alderic glances at Marcel.

ALDRIC (CONTD)
Now...
Awaits for another interruption.
ALDRIC (CONTD)
Had she been going out a lot?
SINCLAIR
Considerably, every night.
ALDRIC
So daughter Sinclair isnt holding
you hostage? Blink twice if she
is...
(Stiff humour, Corsair
rolls her eyes)
Was Alexandrine showing any unusual
signs at all?
(No response)
--------------------LATER INPUT-----------------------Looks like they dont want anything to do with Alderic.
INT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
CU of Alderic staring at the WALL.
PANNING SHOT across the room, VERY SLOW, ends on the wall.
The wall is covered in pictures of Alexandrine. Hes
obsessing over her.
CUT TO:
MONTAGE OF ALDERIC INTERVIEWING FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES OF
ALEXANDRINES.
EXT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - EARLY MORNING
Same streets weve seen multiple times. Alderic is talking to
TWO GIRLS.
GIRL #1
Got a picture of her?
CU of Alderic. He nods in disagreement. Nothing, a lie.

EXT. RED LIGHT DISTRICT - LATER, NIGHT

Alderic is talking to a bunch of drunk girls.
INAUDIBLE.
INT. GRANDEUR HOTEL - BAR - NIGHT
Shows the picture of Alexandrine to the BARTENDER.
He just nods in disagreement.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Nothing.
FADE OUT.
INT. ALEXANDRINES FAMILY HOME - ALEXANDRINES ROOM - EVENING
The room is very plain, blue walls and some painting; one
specific painting is Pietro Pajettas - Der Hass (1896).
There also varies some paintings on the wall with deeper
meaning involving anthropology.
Marcel and MARCELS TRANSLATOR are present in the room with
Alderic. No one must be home, just them.
ALDRIC
So you understand. No matter what I
find out, it wont be good news,
Marcel.
Marcel nods in agreement.
Alderic eyes the Marcels translator.
ALDRIC (CONTD)
I have reasons to believe your
sister is involved.
MARCEL SPEAKS VIA SIGN LANGUAGE
MARCELS TRANSLATOR
And it has come to our knowledge
that a man is involved, an
Albanian.
ALDRIC
And I know who it is.
Marcel communicates again.

MARCELS TRANSLATOR
You shant go near Mr. Marcels
daughter Corsair.
(Beat)
What are you to do with him?
Alderic eyes Marcel.
ALDRIC
Marcel, you are not to worry. Ill
involve you in whatever happens to
the man.
INT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
SONG beings to play The Ventures - Lonely Bull
SAME SHOT of ALDERICS BACK, smoking, and his corded phone.
ALDRIC
But what I didnt tell him was I
was falling for a dead girl, and I
knew it wouldnt end well.
INT. THEATRE - DELUSION
SONG CONTINUOUS.
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND of Alderic and Alexandrine waiting
for their feature to start. Just the back of their heads.
Both sharing a cigarette.
ALDRIC
Are you different, or are you
basic?
ALEXANRINE
Youre quite straight forward,
arent you?
ALDRIC
It isnt my fault girls prefer
build up.
ALEXANRINE
Well... personally I dont but Im
a bit different.
ALDRIC
Different is unique, like my god
awful name.

ALEXANRINE
Alderic is not as bad as it seems.
ALDRIC
You wouldnt like being called that
if your name was Alderic.
The LIGHTS DIM down in the theatre.
ALEXANRINE
Shhh, the movies starting.
WE CLOSE INTO THE SCREEN to the song The Chantays Pipeline
FADE IN:
EXT. MARCELS CAR - DAY
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND THE CAR as it drives.
Driver is a UNKNOWN MAN to the audience but is the mute
Marcel, and the passenger is Dewitts 8-year-old daughter
ANASTASIA.
WE ONLY SEE THE BACK OF THEIR HEADS, as per usual.
CU of ANASTASIAS ICE CREAM, melting over her hand.
SONG STILL CONTINUOUS, sort of MONTAGE.
CUT TO:
EXT. ALDERICS CAR - RED LIGHT DISTRICT - NIGHT
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND THE CAR as it drives.
It should be known by now Alderic is prowling these streets.
SONG STILL ON THE PROWL.
CUT TO:
EXT. ABSOLONS BLACK CAR - DESERT - NIGHT
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND THE CAR as it drives.
WE ONLY SEE ANONYMOUS PEOPLE in the CAR, as per the last
scene. But to US the audience will know them as ABSOLON, and
his ARYAN BROTHERHOOD COLLEAGUES and Alderic himself.

SONG finally ends.

CUT TO:
INT. ALDERICS CAR - EARLY MORNING
Alderic has pulled up outside a SUBURBAN HOME. Its clear
that Alderic is drunk, and a bit out of control.
Alderic has baggy eyes from no sleep and a unshaven beard
coming on, its like hes dying of no sleep. Insomnia.
INSPECTS - a POLAROID of Alexandrines high school
sweetheart.
SONG finally fades out.
CUT TO:
INT. APARTMENT FLOOR - EARLY MORNING
Alderic is walking up the hall to Alexandrines Family Home
when the sister, Corsair comes walking out.
They both spot each other, and Corsair tries to make a run
for it but is caught by Alderic.
Pins her to the ground.
CU of Corsair.
ALDERIC (O.S.)
The next words coming out of your
fucking trashy mouth better be the
truth, or youll live the rest of
your life as a unprogressive
cabbage.
Corsair goes in for a fake cry, pretty convincing but not to
Alderic it isnt.
CORSAIR
(Weeping)
She was fucking some rich slob
across town.
Blood running down HER nose.
ALDRIC (O.S.)
Dewitt.

CORSAIR
Howd youShe is cut off by Alderic slapping the almost shit out of
her.
CORSAIR (CONTD)
(Sobbing)
Youre a demon, Alderic! You remind
me of father.
CUT TO:
INT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
An empty room, no Alderic, or any sleazy hooker.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Youd think someone so similar to
you would be horrifying, like
looking into a mirror or a clone.
But instead it felt like I was
truly loving myself.
Pause on PICTURES of ALEXANDRINE.
EXT. DOROTHYS FAR, FAR AWAY MOTEL - ADAM ET EVE SUITE NIGHT
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND of Alderic walking along the pathway
to find his room.
LATER ON
Alderic is by the motels pool with a coffee and a cigarette
nearly falling out of his lips, in a tranced mind set of
thinking.
ALDRIC (V.O.)
Its a shame they dont gas the
insane anymore. Am I crazy?
A BLACK CAR, tinted windows. It pulls into the drive-way of
the motel.
It becomes a stare off for a goof 45 seconds between Alderic
and the strange car.
THE EERIE DRUMS RETURN for the killing.

ALDRIC (V.O.)
The Aryan Brotherhood has been
moving into city recently. This is
decently common every decade when
an empire falls another secret
force moves in for power, whether
it be religion, crime syndicates or
radical opinions; theyre in it for
power. The Black Panthers will be
ridding the streets of these scum
soon, before these scum it was the
wogs.
The car pulls out.
ALDRIC
No, Im not crazy. Someone knows.
Alderic stands, throwing his cigarette in the pool. Sizzles.
CU of the CIGARETTE FLOATING IN THE POOL
INT. ALDERICS CAR - DAY
Alderic is on the phone with MARCEL.
ALDERIC
Trust me paranoia is good.
(Beat)
Ive done this before; I was hired
for a reason.
EXT. MARCELS CAR - DAY
MEDIUM SHOT from BEHIND THE CAR as it drives.
CU of ANASTASIA licking ice cream and staring up at her
captor.
INT. JEANS APARTMENT - NIGHT
Jean enters his apartment, only to be surprised by his PI
friend Alderic.
CU of Alderics SHOTGUN.
JEAN
They found her, Al.
(Beat)
Ease up on the trigger now. This is
going to be hard to hear.
(MORE)

JEAN (CONT'D)

(Beat)
She was usedUpon hearing the word used triggers Alderic pulls the
trigger.
WE PURPOSELY DO NOT SEE JEAN BEING SHOT.
CU of Jeans dead bleeding body.
Alderic is all of a sudden flushed with emotions that hes
never felt before. WHY NOW? Regret and shame, all at once and
for the first time apparently.
EXT. MARCELS CAR - DAY
BEHIND SHOT of the car driving around the city. Two
passengers.
INT. MARCELS CAR - DAY
CU of ANASTASIA with her ice cream.
CU of MARCEL looking back at her. Parked
Revealing he was driving the girl somewhere.
INT. ALEXANDRINES FAMILY HOME - BASEMENT
A BLOODIED MANS back is facing us. That man is the infamous
DEWITT ELONORE, barebacked, bounded, and only wearing
boxers. Bit of a chubby looking man, but definitely a look of
a politician.
CU on Alderic. WESTERN TYPE DRUMS PLAY HIM ON.
Alderic is leaning on a chair, at eyesight with Dewitt. Now
at each others level, except in a biased way.
CU of a CAPSULE pouring a WHITE POWDER of a unknown drug into
Alderics hand.
Alderic holds out his hand offering it to Dewitt. He accepts,
no struggle.
ALDRIC
I work with the Albanians.
DEWITT
Youre kidding me, this is about
the suicide bill passing? Jesus.

ALDRIC
You go to the picture shows often?
(Dewitt nods)
A known trope called who-dun-it,
like a game of Clue. You may have
seen a few shows on it. If a show
was to either base their genre on
me, itd be a why-dun-it and the
shows finale would be right here.

Picks up a corded telephone. Dials it.

Yeah, hes made up his mind about

CU of Alderic lighting his cigarette.
CLANK! Of the Basement door.
Two people come down the wooden steps, DEWITTS DAUGHTER
ANASTASIA and the mute Marcel.
Dewitt starts going berserk at the sight of his daughter.
As soon as Anastasia realizes the situation Marcel grabs her
by the mouth and keeps her still, muffling her screams.
DEWITT
NOOOO, NO, NO, please no. Please,
friend, do not do this.

(Beat)
YOU MOTHERFUCKER YOU! WHO ARE YOU

ALDRIC
This is Alexandrines father,
Marcel, and me? Someone, someone
you dont need to know about for
security reasons.
(Beat)
You know what will earn you brownie
points? If daddy and little
Anastasia sing us a song. Me and
Marcel would love to see a daddy
and daughter bonding moment, seeing
as though Marcels a bit down.
CU of Marcels blank face.
CU of Dewitt. Hes slightly crying.
DEWITT
(Sniveling)

CU of Anastasia nodding through Marcels hand.

WE SEE her nodding again. Marcel releases her bounded mouth,

Oh were speaking about fun facts
are we? Did you know the single
intestine can stretch around the
world twice, imagine that. So
Dewitt, I need to know why.
Alderic looks Anastasia in the eye.
DEWITT
Im sorry Annie...
(Sighs)
It was a primal urge. No real
reason, which is the sad thing.
Something just snapped inside me. I
have a family, and, and kids. Im
an ordinary fellow with so much too
lose, think I had reasons?
ALDERIC
I think weve heard enough, its
closing time, Dewitt...
(Sighs)
Night shifts in general come with
insomnia placenta. No really
stopping it, unless you want a
normal life. It takes a long time
for your brain to melt. It melts
that little peeking crow in your
head that wont stop blabbering on
like a kid with ADHD getting his
fizzy drink fix of the day. Im
going to make it easier for you to
rid of this crow...
Marcel reaches his hand on Alderic, giving him a sign.
Anastasia still as she can be, unable to move.
ALDERIC (CONTD)
One more thing, Dewitt. How?
(Beat)
Dewitt stares into Alderic. His blue eyes trying to connect
with his captor.
DEWITT
I turned her into a fucknugget. I
decapitated her limbs, being the
arms and legs. So she couldnt
escape or defend herself. Then used
her to my pleasure for awhile.
After the heat in the moment was
over... I had no use, twas ashamed
of my evil doing.

CU of Alderic, with a shocked expression. Unable to speak.

CU of Marcel, unimpressed by this cruel revelation.
Marcel moves Alderic out of the seat. Dewitt wondering whats
happening.
Marcel unsheathes a BOWIE KNIFE, it has a World War 2
engraving on it.
CU of the World War 2 engraving.
DEWITT (CONTD)
Not in front of Annie, please.
LONG TAKE: BEHIND SHOT of DEWITTS BACK with Alderic leaning
on a wall in the background looking like a zombie, Anastasia
shocked expression in the background, and Marcel sort of
being unseen by Dewitt being in the way.
Marcel cuts open a bit of Dewitts stomach, reaches in, and
pulls out his intestines very slowly.
As Dewitts slowly dying, he screams, struggles and babbles
on about how he enjoyed it so much in envy of his killers.
INT. ALDERICS CAR
Alderic leaves the home, expressionless. A mute. A pyrrhic
victory.
INT. DOROTHYS FAR AWAY MOTEL - ROOM 14
Phone ringing, Alderic is awake but unaware of it, zoned out
in his own mind of what unraveled to his bereaved lover.
DAYS GO BY
Alderic roaming around expressionless, like a zombie, or a
vegetable.
INT. DOROTHYS FAR AWAY MOTEL - ROOM 14
SOMEONE breaks into the room. Its ABSOLON and his ARYAN
GOONS. Absolon wears a black suit and has the feature of a
burnt up face, and his goons just like look bikers.

INT. ABSOLONS BLACK CAR - CITY - NIGHT

Alderic is squashed in the back with the goons and Absolon is
driving. Alderic is just staring into the CAMERA. Still not
giving too many shits, a motionless corpse drifting through
the last hour of his life.
ABSOLON
All you had to do was tell us what
happened.
EXT. DESERT - NIGHT
Alderic is standing in a pitch. Absolon stands outside it
with his goons, and the car in the back, headlights blaring.
CU of a PISTOL raising.
ABSOLON
You could never save your wife
Alderic is shot in the stomach. If youve ever seen someone
shot in the stomach, its pretty gritty considering their in
agonizing pain for a few hours waiting for death.
